NEW BERGAMONT FRIENDS. INTRO
2015 wird das Jahr der Neuheiten! In diesem Jahr zieht sich als Leitmotiv, neben der Vorstellung innovativer, neuer Rahmenkonzepte, der Gedanke der Systemintegration über alle Bereiche hinweg. Bei unseren bestehenden Modellen wird dies in zahlreichen, teilweise kleinen, aber entscheidenden Detailverbesserungen deutlich. Anbauteile, Kabel und Leitungen sind durchweg sauber integriert, was zu einer besonders cleanen Optik sowie verbesserter Wartungs- und Bedienerfreundlichkeit beiträgt. Im Mountainbike-Bereich haben wir gleich drei gänzlich neue Rahmenplattformen im Programm: zum einen das verspielte Trailster Fully und das sportliche Roxtar Carbon Hardtail, zum anderen ein vollgefederter Slopestyle-Spezialist, das Kiez Slope. Alle drei Bikes bieten viele neue Features und sind bis ins Detail auf ihren Einsatzzweck hin optimiert. Ebenfalls komplett neu entwickelt ist der Prime RS Aero-Rennradrahmen. Bei der aufwändigen Konstruktion aus leichtem Carbon wurden niedriges Gewicht, Aerodynamik und Fahrkomfort großgeschrieben. Fast schon eine kleine Revolution ist das brandneue E-Ville. Hier vereinen sich modernste Entwicklungs- und Fertigungsverfahren mit innovativem Design und hervorragender Ergonomie zu einem Urban E-Bike wie aus einem Guss. Bei Bergamont wird vom Sportler bis zum Genussradler jeder fündig, der auf der Suche nach einem Rad mit viel Fahrspaß und intelligenter Ausstattung ist. Auf, auf in die neue Saison!
2015 will be the year of innovations! This year, the concept of systems integration – in addition to the presentation of innovative new frame concepts – is the guiding principle throughout the entire range of bikes. This is evident in numerous improvements to our existing models: sometimes small but crucial. Components, cables and hoses are all cleanly integrated, which contributes to a very pure look, improved maintenance and ease of use. In the MTB area, we have three entirely new frame platforms in the range: firstly, the playful Trailster Fully and sporty Roxtar Carbon Hardtail. Secondly, a full suspension Slopestyle specialist, the Kiez Slope. All three bikes offer lots of new features and are optimized down to the last in detail according to their purpose. The Prime RS Aero road bike frame has also been newly developed. For the complex construction of light carbon fiber, lightweight aerodynamics and ride comfort have been capitalized. The brand new E-Ville is practically a revolution. State-of-the-art development and manufacturing processes are combined with innovative design and excellent ergonomics resulting in an Urban E-Bike as a unified whole. At Bergamont, there is something for everyone, from elite athletes to leisure cyclists looking for a bike with a lot of riding pleasure and intelligent features. Let the new season begin!

Samy Deluxe gründete 1997 seine erste HipHop-Band Dynamite Deluxe. Nach unzähligen Chart-Hits ist der Musiker heute nach wie vor erfolgreich. Der Hamburger lässt gerne mal das Auto stehen und ist dann auf seinem Bergamont Revox 6.4 unterwegs.
Samy Deluxe founded his first hip-hop band Dynamite Deluxe in 1997. After countless chart hits, the musician is still successful today. The Hamburg resident likes to leave the car parked and get around on his Bergamont Revox 6.4.
Max Hoff, einer der erfolgreichsten KanuRennsportler weltweit, stählt sich beim Landtraining auf dem Bergamont Prime Team. Max hat bei den Olympischen Spielen 2008 in Peking und 2012 in London erfolgreich teilgenommen und mit einer Bronzemedaille abgeschlossen. Hinzu kommen 5 Weltmeister- sowie 5 Europameistertitel. Sein Ziel: die Olympischen Spiele 2016 in Rio.
Max Hoff, one of the most successful Canoe Sprint athletes worldwide, trains on land on the Bergamont Prime Team. Max successfully participated at the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008 and London 2012 and finished with a bronze medal. In addition, he’s won five World Championships and five European Titles. His goal: the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
BERGAMONT CHARITY. Mit einigen Künstlern gemeinsam unterstützen wir regionale, wohltätige Organisationen, zu denen ein persönlicher Bezug besteht. Es werden Fahrrad-Unikate, die von Künstlern kreativ gestaltet wurden, auf „ebay for charity“ versteigert.
Together with various artists, we support local charitable organizations with which we have personal relationships. Unique bike models that have been creatively designed by artists are auctioned on “ebay for charity.”
So wie Fettes Brot für Viva Con Agua und Sternenbrücke: die drei Jungs gehören mittlerweile schon seit 2011 zu den Bergamont Friends und fahren Horizon N360, Helix 8.4 bzw. Helix 5.4 EQ. Es sind insgesamt mehrere tausend Euro zusammengekommen. Den „Broten“ und allen anderen vielen, vielen Dank!

Especially designed for use on the bigger and tougher Slopestyle courses, the Kiez Slope was developed based on the established Kiez Dirt-Jump Hardtail range.
Die Geometrie wurde entsprechend der modernen Entwicklungen angepasst, ein kurzer Hinterbau und der etwas flachere Lenkwinkel machen das Bike agil und dennoch laufruhig. The geometry has been adapted to match all the latest developments; a short rear end and the somewhat flatter steering angle make the bike agile, yet a smooth runner. We are often asked what wheel size we recommend. There is a trend towards larger wheels such as 27.5" or 29". Nevertheless, the classic 26" is still at home with us. What counts is the individual mix of bike discipline, use, rider height, rideability, desired comfort or simply personal taste – just try it.

Wir werden oft gefragt, welche Laufradgröße wir empfehlen. Es gibt einen Trend zu größeren Laufrädern wie 27,5" oder 29". Dennoch hat bei uns auch das klassische 26" nach wie vor seinen Platz. Es zählt der individuelle Mix aus Bike-Disziplin, Einsatz, Körpergröße, Fahrverhalten, Komfort-Wunsch oder Geschmack – einfach ausprobieren.

DIRT / SLOPESTYLE TEAM Dirt Biker und Slopestyler sind immer ein Riesenpfund in der Bergamont Team-Entwicklung. Unsere Mannschaft freut sich unter anderem auf den russischen Red Bull-Piloten und Paradiesvogel Pavel Alekhin, um gemeinsam die Parks zu rocken und bei Contests ganz vorn zu landen.
Dirt Bikers and Slopestyle Riders are always huge assets for the Bergamont Team development. Our team is looking forward to rock the parks with their newest member Pavel Alekhin, well-known russian Red Bull rider and a sure podium candidate.
PAVEL ALEKHIN Pavel, alias „Vishneviy“, ist eine Ikone der internationalen Freeride-Szene und in der ganzen Welt unterwegs. Er ist bekannt für seine irrsinnigen Trick-Variationen, die ihm 2013 unter anderem zum Gewinn des White Style Best Trick Contest verholfen haben. Nach schwerer Verletzung ist er nun bereit, um 2015 wieder voll anzugreifen. Und das mit den neuen Kiez Pro und Kiez Slope Modellen in spezieller Pavel Alekhin-Edition. Pavel, aka “Vishneviy”, is one of the icons of the international Freeride scene and gets around the world a lot. He is known for his insane trick variations that have helped him, among others things, in 2013 to win the White Style Best Trick Contest. After a serious injury, he is now ready to come back and fully attack again in 2015. And he’ll be doing it with the new Kiez Pro and Kiez Slope models in the special Pavel Alekhin edition.

ENDURANCE TEAM Auch im Cross Country und MTB Marathon wird das Bergamont Hayes Factory Team stark besetzt sein. Neben unseren Dauerläufern André Kleindienst und Stefan Danowski werden die beiden U23-Fahrer Ben Zwiehoff und David Simon auf Bergamont Revox oder Fastlane unterwegs sein und bei allen wichtigen nationalen und internationalen Rennen am Start stehen. Für Ben gilt dabei ein ganz großes Ziel, die Olympischen Spiele 2016 in Rio.
In Cross Country and MTB Marathon racing, the Bergamont Hayes Factory Team will be strong as well. In addition to our nonstop riders André Kleindienst and Stefan Danowski, the two U23 riders Ben Zwiehoff and David Simon will be on Bergamont Revoxs or Fastlane bikes and ready for all major national and international competitions. FULLY 29" MARATHON RACE / MARATHON TOUR Unsere 29" Fastlane Race-Fullys gibt es jetzt neben Vollcarbon- und HybridRahmen auch mit Alu-Rahmen für den Einstiegsbereich. Das Topmodell Fastlane MGN kommt mit revolutionärer, elektronischer Shimano XTR Di2 Komplettgruppe. Bei den Modellen mit Alu-Hinterbau wurde der Rahmen durch geänderte Ausfallenden nochmal leichter und hat außerdem eine neue Scheibenbremsaufnahme bekommen. Der Alu-Hauptrahmen ist für die innenverlegte Ansteuerung von Variostützen vorbereitet, also „stealth ready“.

Along with our full carbon and hybrid frame models the 29" Fastlane full-suspension XC bikes are now available as an entry-level aluminium version. The high-end model MGN now features the revolutionary, electronic XTR Di2 drive train. Thanks to redesigned drop outs on all models with an aluminium rear end these bikes have become even lighter plus the disc mount has been improved as well. The aluminium main frame has internal cable routing for an adjustable seat post – it’s “stealth ready”.

FULLY 29" TRAIL TOUR Die bewährte Trailvariante unserer 29" Rahmenplattform hat ein neues MGNTopmodell mit Vollcarbon-Rahmen und einem sehr breit ausgelegtem Einsatzbereich erhalten. Neu und mit dem gleichen Rahmen versehen ist das Contrail 9.0. Alle Modelle verfügen über 120 mm Federweg und eine ausgesprochen entspannte, aber dennoch performance-orientierte Sitzposition für lange, ermüdungsfreie Tourenfahrten. Kinematik und Geometrie vermitteln auch bergab viel Sicherheit.

The proven trail version of our 29" frame platform has a new and extremely versatile MGN model with a full carbon frame. Also new and featuring the same frame is the Contrail 9.0. All models have 120 mm of travel and a relaxed but performance orientated seating position making epic rides almost effortless. Well balanced suspension kinematics and geometry give you a lot of confidence when riding downhill.

The Trailster is very agile, nimble and thanks to its new suspension kinematics very responsive over the entire length of travel, it climbs well and excels downhill. Equipped for touring with Schwalbe tires, regular bars and 32 mm fork stanchions, or as EX version featuring Maxxis tires, a chain guide, wider bars and 34 mm stanchions for progressive trail riding.

Für 2015 wurde das Tyro nochmal leichter, bekam ein 73 mm Tretlagergehäuse verpasst und mit einer verbesserten Ergonomie versehen.

For 2015 the Big Air Tyro features a lightened frame with a 73 mm BB housing and we also improved overall ergonomics.

FULLY 26" SLOPESTYLE Speziell für den Einsatz auf den immer schneller und größer werdenden Slopestyle-Kursen wurde das Kiez Slope auf Basis der bewährten Kiez Dirt JumpHardtails entwickelt. Die Geometrie wurde entsprechend der modernen Entwicklungen angepasst, ein kurzer Hinterbau und der etwas flachere Lenkwinkel machen das Bike agil und dennoch laufruhig. Die neue und eigens entwickelte Hinterbaukinematik bietet 110 mm Federweg und erlaubt danke gleichbleibender Kettenlänge ein Singlespeed-Setup.

With the modern slopestyle tracks becoming ever bigger and faster we based the geometry of the new Kiez Slope on that of our rock solid Kiez dirt hardtails. A short chain stay and more slack on the head angle make the bike very agile without being nervous. The newly developed suspension kinematics offer 110 mm of rear wheel travel and, as the chain stay length is constant through the entire length of travel, allows even for a single-speed setup.

Serienmäßig werden jetzt alle Straitline Modelle mit 26" Hinterrad und 27,5" Vorderrad ausgeliefert, was auch für Normalfahrer eine spürbare Verbesserung im Fahrverhalten bedeutet. Rahmen und Gabel sind jeweils zur anderen Laufradgröße hin kompatibel, sodass je nach Einsatz und Vorliebe auch ein reines 26" oder 27,5" Setup gefahren werden kann.

The Bergamont Hayes Factory Team delivered valuable feedback throughout the last season for further improvement on our Straitline frame platform. Production models now all feature a 26" rear and a 27.5" front wheel, even for average riders this means a significant improvement in riding quality. Frame and fork are compatible to both wheel sizes, making an optional full 26" or 27.5" wheel setup possible as well.

The Roxtar is the evolution of the Revox platform and its perfect adaptation to a 27.5" wheel setup. E-BIKE TREKKING / SPORT / TOUR Die Rahmen der E-Line C Modelle wurden für 2015 nochmals überarbeitet. Ein neuer Motorflansch reduziert das Gewicht und sorgt für bessere Passform, ein konisches Steuerrohr mit semi-integriertem Steuersatz wertet die Optik deutlich auf und die interne Verlegung von Licht- und Displaykabel sorgt für Ordnung am Rahmen. Alle Rahmen werden bereits seit 2014 nach MTB EN-Norm getestet, um den höheren Belastungen Rechnung zu tragen – das sorgt für mehr Fahrstabilität, Sicherheit und Reserven.
The E-Line C frames have been further improved for 2015. A new motor mount reduces weight and improves the fit, a tapered head tube and semi-integrated headset make for better looks and the internal routing of display and lighting cables keep the frame clean. Ever since 2014 all frames have been tested according to the MTB EN-norm to account for higher loads – that means more stability, safety and added reserves.

This year, we went with our photo team to Norway. Ancient landscapes, rugged mountains, icy waterfalls and the rough Atlantic Ocean that cuts razor sharp fjords into the land.What romantic, never-seen-before backdrops for our bikes! We covered long distances from our hotel base until we were able to at last set up the bikes and cameras, but were always rewarded by breathtaking natural surroundings. Coach Roland Vrabec has devised some disciplines with which he can tap the power reserves of his players: long tours for conditioning, hard climbs for the determination to win, as well as one-on-one sprints for quick acceleration. Let’s cross our fingers so that the improved pedaling efficiency provides for even greater performance in the 2nd Bundesliga.

2015 wird das Jahr der Neuheiten! In diesem Jahr zieht sich als Leitmotiv, neben der Vorstellung innovativer, neuer Rahmenkonzepte, der Gedanke der Systemintegration über alle Bereiche hinweg. Bei unseren bestehenden Modellen wird dies in zahlreichen, teilweise kleinen, aber entscheidenden Detailverbesserungen deutlich. Anbauteile, Kabel und Leitungen sind durchweg sauber integriert, was zu einer besonders cleanen Optik sowie verbesserter Wartungs- und Bedienerfreundlichkeit beiträgt. Im Mountainbike-Bereich haben wir gleich drei gänzlich neue Rahmenplattformen im Programm: zum einen das verspielte Trailster Fully und das sportliche Roxtar Carbon Hardtail, zum anderen ein vollgefederter Slopestyle-Spezialist, das Kiez Slope. Alle drei Bikes bieten viele neue Features und sind bis ins Detail auf ihren Einsatzzweck hin optimiert. Ebenfalls komplett neu entwickelt ist der Prime RS Aero-Rennradrahmen. Bei der aufwändigen Konstruktion aus leichtem Carbon wurden niedriges Gewicht, Aerodynamik und Fahrkomfort großgeschrieben. Fast schon eine kleine Revolution ist das brandneue E-Ville. Hier vereinen sich modernste Entwicklungs- und Fertigungsverfahren mit innovativem Design und hervorragender Ergonomie zu einem Urban E-Bike wie aus einem Guss. Bei Bergamont wird vom Sportler bis zum Genussradler jeder fündig, der auf der Suche nach einem Rad mit viel Fahrspaß und intelligenter Ausstattung ist. Auf, auf in die neue Saison!
2015 will be the year of innovations! This year, the concept of systems integration – in addition to the presentation of innovative new frame concepts – is the guiding principle throughout the entire range of bikes. This is evident in numerous improvements to our existing models: sometimes small but crucial. Components, cables and hoses are all cleanly integrated, which contributes to a very pure look, improved maintenance and ease of use. In the MTB area, we have three entirely new frame platforms in the range: firstly, the playful Trailster Fully and sporty Roxtar Carbon Hardtail. Secondly, a full suspension Slopestyle specialist, the Kiez Slope. All three bikes offer lots of new features and are optimized down to the last in detail according to their purpose. The Prime RS Aero road bike frame has also been newly developed. For the complex construction of light carbon fiber, lightweight aerodynamics and ride comfort have been capitalized. The brand new E-Ville is practically a revolution. State-of-the-art development and manufacturing processes are combined with innovative design and excellent ergonomics resulting in an Urban E-Bike as a unified whole. At Bergamont, there is something for everyone, from elite athletes to leisure cyclists looking for a bike with a lot of riding pleasure and intelligent features. Let the new season begin!

Samy Deluxe gründete 1997 seine erste HipHop-Band Dynamite Deluxe. Nach unzähligen Chart-Hits ist der Musiker heute nach wie vor erfolgreich. Der Hamburger lässt gerne mal das Auto stehen und ist dann auf seinem Bergamont Revox 6.4 unterwegs.
Samy Deluxe founded his first hip-hop band Dynamite Deluxe in 1997. After countless chart hits, the musician is still successful today. The Hamburg resident likes to leave the car parked and get around on his Bergamont Revox 6.4.
Max Hoff, einer der erfolgreichsten KanuRennsportler weltweit, stählt sich beim Landtraining auf dem Bergamont Prime Team. Max hat bei den Olympischen Spielen 2008 in Peking und 2012 in London erfolgreich teilgenommen und mit einer Bronzemedaille abgeschlossen. Hinzu kommen 5 Weltmeister- sowie 5 Europameistertitel. Sein Ziel: die Olympischen Spiele 2016 in Rio.
Max Hoff, one of the most successful Canoe Sprint athletes worldwide, trains on land on the Bergamont Prime Team. Max successfully participated at the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008 and London 2012 and finished with a bronze medal. In addition, he’s won five World Championships and five European Titles. His goal: the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
BERGAMONT CHARITY. Mit einigen Künstlern gemeinsam unterstützen wir regionale, wohltätige Organisationen, zu denen ein persönlicher Bezug besteht. Es werden Fahrrad-Unikate, die von Künstlern kreativ gestaltet wurden, auf „ebay for charity“ versteigert.
Together with various artists, we support local charitable organizations with which we have personal relationships. Unique bike models that have been creatively designed by artists are auctioned on “ebay for charity.”
So wie Fettes Brot für Viva Con Agua und Sternenbrücke: die drei Jungs gehören mittlerweile schon seit 2011 zu den Bergamont Friends und fahren Horizon N360, Helix 8.4 bzw. Helix 5.4 EQ. Es sind insgesamt mehrere tausend Euro zusammengekommen. Den „Broten“ und allen anderen vielen, vielen Dank!
