If I could travel any where it would be Paris, because Paris is beautiful and romantic. • What is something that you really appreciate about working here? What I really appreciate about working with the agency is my supportive co-workers.

Krishina Bates Social Services Worker, Children Services • High School/College (with highest degree attained) I graduated from Glen Oak High School, and Kent State University with a BA in English. I’m currently in graduate school at Kent for my MBA, with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2014. • Favorite book: My favorite classic is The Catcher in the Rye. My new favorite is The Time Traveler’s Wife. • Favorite Movie: I love movies, especially comedies and cheesy horror movies, but the Back to the Future Trilogy is still my favorite. • Favorite TV Show: That is probably a tie between 30 Rock and How I Met Your Mother. I also love watching repeats of The Golden Girls. • Favorite band/singer/song or radio station: My all-time favorite band is the Beastie Boys. I got to see them live several times, including their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year. • Favorite Sport/Team or Athlete: The New York Yankees are my favorite team, but I root for all the Cleveland Teams throughout the year. • Favorite Restaurant: That is probably a tie between 91 and Luigi’s. • If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? I would love travel to Europe, specifically to Paris - I had about 10 years of French in school, and I’d like to see if I can use the language outside of the classroom - and do some shopping! • What is something that you really appreciate about working here? I appreciate so many things about working at SCJFS, it’s hard to pick just one! I appreciate the opportunities I’ve had to learn new things and help people. I also appreciate my coworkers, and the teams that I’ve worked with. I feel really lucky to be able to come to work everyday, to a job that I enjoy, with people that I can call friends. I would like to visit Denmark, because I have a Danish heritage, and I still have relatives there. • What is something that you really appreciate about working here? Everyone I work with treats each other with respect...at least around me. I believe the genuine desire of the agency is to have “happy” employees. - John Long

No one particular place....just traveling to see different places and creating special memories. • What is something that you really appreciate about working here? What I like most about working here is meeting people. I have met some wonderful people while working here.... co-workers as well as clients.
