‘These paintings are part of an ongoing series of small and medium scale paintings which were initially inspired by the Predella panels found at the bottom of Renaissance altarpieces.

Predella panels are small scale narrative paintings depicting scenes from the life of the dedicatee of the altarpiece.

My ‘panel’ paintings are simple scenes which often touch upon the idea of journeys (both internal and external), moving through space, and hence moving through time.’
