I then started photographing pun-ny situa-
tions that I staged with people and objects. Poverty drove me to more straight jobs, from soap to rolling papers, but I always kept things creative on the side.
Since then, as an independent marketing consultant to
2010, actually selling two pun sculptures. As a kid I lived all over the USA and in a few foreign countries, observing the contradictions that were to give rise to my love of puns.
Humor cures many ills, and I hope my work makes the day a little brighter for you and yours.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Thomas Nelson Creacy (May 22, 1947-May 12, 2024)
was a multi-talented marketing maven, opera aficionado, theologian, linguist, humorist, artist, ballroom dancer, and raconteur as well as a beloved brother, uncle, and friend.
With a Purdue BA and a University of Chicago MBA in hand, Tom stormed New York, creating a career in advertising and product marketing that benefitted from his diverse interests.
Later in life, he proudly served New York City arts organizations as a Business Volunteer for the Arts and student start-ups as an Entrepreneurship and Business Mentor at Long Island University.
