The first quarter of 2015 closed with a base of 294 million domain name registrations across all toplevel domains (TLDs). Registrations have grown by 6.5 percent, year over year. The .com and .net TLDs experienced aggregate growth, reaching a combined total of approximately 133 million domain names in the first quarter of 2015.
