Phosphor-Bovisal Phosphorus/calcium gel as an adjunct to infusion therapy for parturient paresis (milk fever) Liquid mineral feed for cows General information About half of all cows suffering from milk fever-related recumbency exhibit subnormal levels of both phosphorus and calcium.

When given in conjunction with calcium infusion therapy, Phosphor-Bovisal® substantially reduces the duration of recumbency in hypocalcaemic and/or hypophosphataemic cows.

Shelf life 24 months Pack size 12 x 500 ml bottles (PET)

Phosphor-Bovisal® is well tolerated by the mucosa and highly palatable.

Feeding instructions Pour 1 bottle of Phosphor-Bovisal® directly into the mouth following administration of the calcium infusion.

If the cow is still recumbent after 8 to 10 hours (a rare occurence), a further bottle of PhosphorBovisal® should be administered (if necessary, after a 2nd calcium infusion).
