Transeo-Plus速 system Hands free personnel tracking in tunnels using RFID
The Transeo-Plus® software plus Z-Tags cards, is an underground tracking system developed specifically for use in underground mines and tunneling applications. The system tracks highly robust active Tags, carried by personnel or tags attached to vehicles and other equipment. Receivers and controllers of the system are designed for optimum reliability in work areas, even explosive areas with the ATEX products line. The intuitive Transeo-Plus® software can not only support real-time tracking, but also could integrate Sensors, IP or analog video cameras, intruders detection, allow asset management and other expandable functionalities.

Using microwave dual tags RFID for personnel use, allow the companies to implement a timeand-attendance system for safety purposes in “hands-free” mode.
The receivers, placed in strategic points, detect the zones where the workers are located.
The tags, in badge format, are fixed in the helmet or in the front pocket of the jacket, are sending every second a radio signal not affecting the health of the worker. The tags are available in ATEX format for zone II environments. The tags, even radio-blinking every second for location, they life is estimated in 4,5 years.
Using optional feature of motion activated tag, our software could detect if a person is moving or not depending on a fixed rate time, thus sending an alarm in case of no activity during a period.
