Fazeela is the founding clinician of the FACE implant multidisciplinary team both on the surgical and restorative side, for One To One Dental Clinic, Harley Street, London. With a special interest in Implant Dentistry, both on the surgical and restorative full-arch rehabilitation of the maxilla, she has developed treatment modalities for Peri-implantitis within clinical practice. Fazeela is passionate about training and mentoring GDPs within Implant Dentistry, and regularly lectures worldwide.

Paul has 15+ years’ experience working in implant dentistry. He owns a specialist referral practice in Liverpool, limiting his own practice to implants. Paul is a mentor to dentists training in implantology, a tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons Diploma in Implant Dentistry, the ITI Study Club Director for Liverpool and runs numerous courses through his own education academy, IDEAL.

Robert has over 30 years’ experience treating complex cases involving cosmetic, implant and orthodontic treatments. Throughout his career he has taught many dentists on all aspects of cosmetic and dental implant therapies. Rob tutors and mentors for several prestigious dental associations, is a Royal College of Surgeons examiner for the implant diploma (RCS Edin) and was the president of BAAD 2018-2020.

Marcos White is one of the UK’s most prominent opinion leaders for digital dentistry and intra-oral scanning. His private practice has seen transformative revenue growth and clinical efficiencies through digital innovation. Marcos built his own on-site digital lab, producing every dental and implant restoration needed for his practice and key customers. Marcos runs the Digital Growth Program for dentists wishing to emulate his techniques and digital workflows.

Nikolaos is a Senior Implant and Restorative Surgeon in private clinics in London and Edinburgh. His special interest and main qualifications are in Oral Surgery and Oral Implantology while he has wide experience in Aesthetic Dentistry. He has almost 20 years’ experience, lectures about Implants and Regenerative Dentistry and he is leading a program for introducing and mentoring dentists in Implant Dentistry.

Prof. Riaz Yar graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1999, before setting up his own practice in 2003. His main topic of interest is TMD and Occlusion with Sleep Medicine. He runs courses nationally and internationally, including a PG Certificate in Advanced Aesthetics and Dental Sleep Medicine and is a Specialty Dentist in TMD at Manchester Dental Hospital.

This Oral Surgery Course is open to all dentists, not just those who practice in dental implants and will take place in person over 2 days. The course offers GDPs and Implant Clinicians the opportunity to upskill and enhance their oral surgery skills through hands-on with fresh, frozen human cadavers and long-term support. The hands-on cadaveric training day on day two will include 1 specimen per 2 delegates and 1:1 guidance, support and assistance throughout the day.

• Criteria for case selection, including medical, radiographic and clinical assessment of oral surgery cases.

• Consolidate the knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral surgery.

• Understand local anaesthetic techniques and pharmacology relevant oral surgery.

• Comprehend the basic principles of oral surgery, including instrumentation for different procedures.

• Comprehend the principles of surgical extractions, including flap raising, bone removal and suturing.

Course level: Beginner

Course Schedule: 08:30 - 17:30. Delegate dinner in Coventry on the Friday evening.

• Understand the principles behind the removal of impacted teeth, including lower wisdom teeth.

• Understand the role of CBCT imaging in oral surgery and its use in surgical planning.

• Principles of socket preservation post extraction, and the varying materials that can be used to perform this.

• Understand surgical complications and their management.

• An introduction to the placement of dental implants with demonstration and practising on human cadavers
