The picture shows model CS-15-19 (with optional grille) Description The Zehnder Stratos is a fully welded convection radiator containing between 1 and 4 flat tubes measuring 75 x 10 x 1.3 mm, stacked horizontally on top of one another with a 3 mm gap between the tubes. The fins are welded on using a patented, laser welding technique. Two or three rows of water-conducting, shaped tubes are located one behind the other. By request may be equipped with a built-in reflective cover plate. The horizontal tubes are welded to the 82 x 40 x 1.5 mm manifolds using radial welding. Installation length from 500 to 4000 mm With decorative grille covering the fins, the radiator complies with the requirements of the GUV (German Accident Insurance). The radiator contains two 1/2“ connections for the supply/return and a built-in 1/2“ air vent. The radiator is primed, coated with powder enamel, and baked in accordance with DIN 55900. Heat capacity is in compliance to standard DIN EN 442.

Fastener sets for easy installation

zehnder stratos The following table shows two types of brackets for Zehnder Stratos. The desired mounting set may be selected during installation, which is possible due to the new combination fastener set for floor/wall mounting. The required number of brackets will be supplied with the radiator. The fastener type determines the distance to the wall and the connection size. This information is included in the table. WBK Set

Zehnder Stratos CSW saves energy By virtue of its compact construction, high heat capacity with small overall dimensions, and convective heat transfer, the Zehnder Stratos CSW convector is optimally suited for use in front of floor-to-ceiling glass facades or so-called “French windows�. The disadvantage of installing radiators in front of such glass walls is the heat loss directly through the glass. The back surface of the radiator emits just as much heat as its front. When a radiator is installed at a solid wall, the emitted heat is reflected by the wall or is absorbed, while the long-wave radiation passes through the glass pane almost unhindered when the radiator is installed in front of a window. Zehnder Stratos CSW radiator with built-in reflective cover plate on its side facing the window was developed in order to decrease these heat losses and the corresponding energy losses. The Zehnder Stratos CSW radiators comply with the requirements related to reflective cover plates, stipulated by the German Federal Resolution of energy conservation.
