VISUAL STORY
This is the set of Brown Boys Swim. This is what you will see when you enter the theatre.
Brown Boys Swim is set in Oxford and is about two Muslim boys learning to swim and growing up.
Inside the theatre you will meet two characters. This is Kash.
This is Mohsen.
The actors will move the set around to create different locations.
A swimming pool.
A gym.
A changing room.
There will be music, dancing and haze throughout the performance. You are welcome to leave and re-enter the theatre if you need a moment away from the performance.
The performance will last one hour and five minutes and there is not an interval.
The performance might make you feel happy, this is ok.
The performance might make you feel sad, this is ok too.
When the performance is over, there will be a black out and the whole stage will go completely dark for a moment. When the lights come back on, the actors will bow, and the audience will clap. Sometimes, this can get a bit noisy.
We hope that you enjoyed the show. Thank you for coming.
