Following their main House debut with Uncommon Riches last summer, Young Rep are back with a gripping season of politically-charged, contemporary plays. When order fails and chaos erupts, what futures can be reimagined?
The Order and Chaos Festival is supported by the Joyce Farley Educational Trust
A Message from the Head of Young Rep…
“Pulling together a festival of this size has been an unbelievable team effort and also a huge privilege. At The Rep, we work with incredible young people and community casts across the West Midlands and we are excited to bring them together to present 21 unique and powerful performances. Thank you to all the fantastic creatives who have worked so hard to make this possible. I also want to thank our brilliant Youth Board who were in on the earliest conversations about ‘Order and Chaos’; it couldn’t have happened without you.
Lastly, I want to thank you, the audiences. Without your support, this festival wouldn’t be possible. I hope you enjoy watching some of Birmingham’s most exciting talent perform on the stage at The Rep.”
Becky Deeks
Head of Young Rep
A big Rep thank you to all of our talented actors who have worked so hard over the past year. We also want to give a massive thank you to the creative and production teams, the chaperones, the work placement students, the teachers and the parents/guardians of the young people who have all made this festival possible.
