Headteacher’s Commendation Award
Congratulations to this wonderful group of Year 10 students who became the first recipients of the new Headteacher’s Commendation Award. The group collectively produced a presentation about their experiences in Tanzania which they gave to students in Years 2, 3, 4 and 5 to help the younger students understand BIS Abu Dhabi’s commitment to the Tanzanian community. They were nominated for the award by Mr. O’Neill, Head of Extended Learning, and by Mrs. Bailey-Carter, a Year 2 teacher, who wrote “The students gave a wonderful presentation with information and pictures from every day of their trip. My students were mesmerised by their stories and had so many questions to ask at the end.’’ A huge well done to you all!
