“Our goal is to preserve the Gospel heritage and perpetuate the Gospel legacy,” says Dr. Teresa Hairston, founder of Gospel Today Magazine and the Gospel Heritage Foundation. In 1996, Hairston founded the Gospel Heritage Foundation and has fostered the growth of the organization. “The 2010 Gospel Heritage Praise & Worship Conference is probably the largest international Gospel celebration during Black History month!” explains Hairston. “We are extremely grateful for all the artists and attendees who come together to be part of this phenomenal two-day event.” Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Grammy award winner and GHF

that uplifts and inspires its listeners. Although the music industry has been challenged through the recession, there are still thousands of independent artists who are still making strides toward careers and dreams. During the conference, many of these artists and producers will teach and network with others to raise the level of the entire genre. Teachers for the weekend will include: Dr. John Guns, Dr. Judy McAllister, Min. Stephen Hurd, Min. Steve Lawrence, Carla Williams, Monica Coates, Elder Roland Hairston, Bishop Andy Lewter, Jr., Dr. Jeff Patton, Trent Von Lee, Revealed Dance Ministry and Ascension Dance Ministry. The conference offers four tracks of instruction: Pastors, Praise Dancers, Ministers of Music/Praise and Worship Leaders, and Youth. Several leading Christian media outlets align to support the Gospel Heritage Foundation (a not-for-profit organization) including: The Word Network, SGN Radio Network, Streaming Faith, Gospel City and Gospel Today Magazine. Conference Registration information can be obtained at: gospelheritage.org or call 770.719.4825. gt
