Homecoming 2021 was one for the books! Miners young and old came together to cheer on the Bishop Manogue football team during a Friday night game under the lights of the D.J. Bernardis Field. Earlier in the week, students and staff embraced the “Metflix” Homecoming Spirit Week and dressed up as favorite Netflix show characters—everything from Stranger Things ‘80s clothes to Grey’s Anatomy scrubs. Miner alumni then joined together and reconnected at the annual Alumni & Friends Tailgate before heading to the homecoming football game where the Miners took the win over Damonte High School 32-14. During halftime, football and volleyball star athletes Sioape Vatikani and Tori Harper were named Homecoming King and Queen. Homecoming Week concluded with the semi-formal homecoming dance.
