Funny enough I actually met my husband, John, through one of our magazines, (take a look back at River + Ranch Builder Edition April/May 2020, it is where it all began). Two years later we are married. I am so excited to tell you a little bit about my wedding and the incredible local vendors I used across North Dakota. he gift of memories, what a business to be in. A picture is worth one thousand words or so the saying goes, and memories last a lifetime. Quinnlyn Gumeringer, owner of Paper Hands Media, has a gentle demeanor, an outgoing personality and has mastered the craft of capturing couples’ personalities. Quinnlyn primarily focuses on wedding photography and videography, although she loves capturing intimate family shoots and lifestyle sessions.
photography
What started out as freelance work has morphed into a full-time career of preserving memories. “I try and focus my photos on the warmth and intimacy of people, families and couples. I love being able to highlight their personalities. I always say I like to creatively preserve people’s memories and milestones for them,” says Quinnlyn. Rather than posing and staging Quinnlyn opts to put couples in their “natural habitat.” “I really focus again on just trying to highlight their personality. If they feel uncomfortable in front of the camera let's find an activity to do together, I like finding those special things to do with my couples and my families that show off who they are, so that when they look back on these photos they can say yes that truly feels like us,” exclaims Quinnlyn.
PAPER HANDS MEDIA
Quinnlyn Gumeringer | Paper Hands Media www.paperhandsmedia.com
Quinnlyn puts minds at ease in front of the camera and in session, making it look effortless, but also she makes sure that her clients feel valued and taken care of. “My clients are investing in someone who genuinely cares. I am going to answer your messages as fast as I can. I walk all my clients through the process, answer the questions they have and tailor their experience just for them. Each couple is different, and each shoot is unique to who those couples are,” expresses Quinnlyn. “I can’t stop staring at our gallery and I cried when I saw our photos. Quinnlyn did such an amazing job. My fiancé was a little nervous about our engagement shoot, but once he met Quinnlyn he had a blast. She captured moments I didn’t even know were possible and made us both feel so comfortable in front of the camera. The day was the best day of our lives and now we get to relive it every time we look at the photos,” says Hannah. “The Bowman wedding was so fun, the attention to detail was awesome, and I'm a big detailed person so being able to photograph everything, I loved that. Going through and editing their photos you can totally tell what everyone's emotions are right on their faces, you can’t force that kind of joy or that kind of happiness. You could tell in the photos the whole day was authentic, genuine and so personal and that is my favorite part of capturing weddings. I get to experience and capture that joy with each couple and it is a gift,” says Quinnlyn. Photos are meant to be cherished and passed down for generations. Looking back on the memories, kids or even those who may have passed and being able to hold those memories perfectly captured is so special.

ou’re engaged! Now what? Before you start with all the little things, the big question is where? For some, choosing the perfect venue can be daunting, but if you’re like Hannah & John, one tour and one glance at The Pines, and you’re sold! The Pines is a fairly new wedding and event venue space, hosting their first wedding season in the summer of 2019. The owners of Grain Designs, a Fargo based custom design furniture company, had found a perfect piece of land and shop for their current business, but needed a way to cashflow the property. The Grain Design team got creative and dreamed up The Pines Weddings & Events Venue.
Venue
“Collectively, both Grain Designs and The Pines strive for the same mission: to provide an exceptional and memorable personal experience that inspires creative ideas and values within our team and our clients,” says Emily Finley, Pines Event Manager.
PAPER HANDS MEDIA
Nestled on rural North Dakota farmland, The Pines is a short 10 miles from Fargo. As you drive up to the beautiful white venue, it’s welcoming glass doors open up to a breathtaking grand hall. Upon entering, get ready to be inspired by the modern, open space with an elegant design. The beauty of The Pines is its simplicity and each couple is encouraged to bring their own personality and creativity to the space. This transformable venue offers a large capacity for 400 guests, an outdoor ceremony site, and exclusive use of The Farmhouse, the perfect on-site prep space for the bridal parties. If you are already in love with The Pines, just wait until Spring 2022. The Pines will then be home to two event center experiences: Pines WHITE & Pines BLACK. Both venues will offer a similar feel and elegantly curated design. Pines BLACK, the new event center, will have a slightly more modern and industrial feel, with a more intimate capacity of 345 guests. Also differentiating BLACK will be a dedicated indoor ceremony site with floor to ceiling windows, a golf simulator & gaming lounge, and prep suites with ensuite bathrooms.

“The first moment I pulled up to The Pines, I was in love. Being from out of town, we appreciated Emily accommodating a Sunday tour. Moments after entering the event center, I remember glancing at my fiancé and giving him ‘a look.’ The look said it all, we were getting married here,” exclaims Hannah. “Within minutes of meeting Hannah and John on their tour, I was selfishly hoping they’d book The Pines! Beyond being incredibly kind and personable, I presumed they would have wildly good style and taste in all-things-weddings! Fast forward to their reception, and it was as classy, simple, and beautiful as anticipated! With a focus on guest experience, their choice of vendors and all wedding details were incredibly well thought out,” gushes Emily. Not only is The Pines an event space like no other, it is supplemented with a team that makes your day worriless. “Besides keeping you organized, on task and helping you with your planning process, Emily is fun! She walks you through the entire process, with multiple meetings along the way, and her infectious, light-hearted attitude makes planning so enjoyable. Their entire team was incredible to work with and so helpful. We knew we were in good hands and I had no stress all day,” says Hannah.

“E
verything is customizable,” exclaims Kent Larsen, managing partner and director of catering operations for Chef ’s Table serving the Fargo/Moorhead area.
PROVIDED
Chef ’s Table started over 6 years ago back in 2015 when they started to build their kitchen inside the Sanctuary Events Center. Since then Chef ’s Table has exploded, in the best way possible, catering over 1500 weddings, named the exclusive caterer for Sanctuary Events Center and The Pines, and continues to grow and cater more events each year.
catering
Decisions, decisions, decisions, there are so many to make in the planning process of a big event like a wedding. Chef ’s Table makes those choices easy. “We cater a lot of weddings and pretty much everything that we do is customizable. There are a lot of instances where we will work with clients to figure out how to make their favorite meal even if it is not listed on our menu. Several times we have made breakfast for dinner for a couple. We also have a full catering menu we send to our couples to look over and see what stands out to them, it is about them and their day,” says Kent. Kent and his team know that there is a lot going on in the planning process and make booking and selections laid back and casual for the couple. “We know there's a lot of things that couples have to figure out and keep track of so we want to make picking out what to have for dinner as easy and less stressful of a process as possible. It's just a conversation that we have with our clients about what they like on the menu and things typically come together pretty quickly,” laughs Kent.
Kent Larsen | Chef 's Table www.chefstablefargo.com
From appetizers during social hour, to dinner and late night snacks Chef ’s Table can do it all, even breakfast or lunch before the wedding. “Chef ’s Table was incredible to work with, especially working with them from out of town. They made everything so easy and I could do it all over email. Kent always answered my questions right away through the process. We wanted an elegant feel to our wedding so Kent worked with us to create a plated meal for our guests with multiple options to fit dietary needs. The best part of the day and being out at The Pines was that Chef ’s Table was able to cater breakfast to all of us as we got ready out there. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, it was set up and ready to go when we arrived and we were able to relax, and eat as we got ready,” says Hannah, a recent Chef 's Table bride. “We can do a lot of different things including catering the whole day. We are honest about what we can do in the planning process, but work with you to make your day great. The Bowman Wedding at The Pines was fun since we started right away with them in the morning with a classic breakfast, then setting up cold appetizers for cocktail hour and finished up with one of our favorite meals, the herb roasted pork loin with an apple chutney,” says Kent. Chef ’s Table has become a well-known name across the Fargo-Moorhead area and their food speaks for itself; from presentation to the last bite, Chef ’s Table will make any wedding a delightful dining experience.

Renee is the owner of Signature Events, a wedding and event planning company located in Mandan that she began in 2014. As a wedding and event planner Renee’s goal is to create unforgettable events for her clients by mitigating stress, anticipating her client needs, and answering the Whys, and the Hows, and consistently delivering the Wows. Renee also owns the Dream Day Bridal Show, which showcases her planning skills and her passion for educating couples and families on the WHYS, HOWS, and WOWS. With a corporate events background, Renee recognized the need for an event planner in the area after a stint as a stayat-home mom to her first born. Renee’s first mission was to educate local brides on the difference between a wedding planner and a Day of Wedding Coordinator. “A planner does the work and executes on her work and a Day of Coordinator executes the couple’s hard work,” she explains. “Planners should see your vision, know your budget, find those professionals, and attend those vendor meetings to ensure they fit within that vision,” she adds. Kristin, a recent Signature Events bride puts it perfectly, “I hired Renee since I was new to the area and did not know where to start for planning my big day. I had a vision of what I wanted and needed Renee to help bring it to life. With her many connections in the industry, she provided lots of vendors to talk to, helped with contracts and always had my best interest in mind. I wanted the planning process to be less stressful and Renee helped with that by keeping me on track with next steps and timelines. Knowing Renee had everything under control on my wedding day allowed me to enjoy the day to the fullest. Best decision I made!”
Renee Murrish | Signature Events www.signatureeventsmandan.com
In 2020 one of Renee’s dreams was realized when she took over the historic Mandan Depot. An event center with a capacity of 60, the Signature Events|Mandan Depot is the perfect spot for groom’s dinners and rehearsal dinners and much more. A unique aspect of Signature Events is the Event Gallery inside the venue that Renee has put together. “The Event Gallery is a one stop event planning resource. When people visit the Gallery, they see the majority of every element you would need for a wedding,” Renee explains. From florists to caterers, lodging to travel planners, Renee has cultivated a list of the premier event vendors in the greater Bismarck/Mandan area and beyond. The Event Gallery is not limited to couples looking for vendors for their weddings, it is open to anyone working on an event. The Event Gallery is free to the public and open four days a week. Renee’s passion for event planning has helped her orchestrate many unforgettable days for countless numbers of guests. She truly listens to the needs and wants of her clients and ensures their wedding day dreams are met. Your wedding is your day and working with Renee will guarantee it is a truly Signature Event.

Destination weddings are the perfect way for couples to celebrate the most important day of their lives with their closest family and friends in a unique location. While most couples have an idea of a destination, they have no idea of a specific place to get married. This is where, Curated Travel Co. steps in and begins guiding the couple through the destination wedding planning process. Working with Cassie and the Curated Travel Co. team provides the couple and each guest with detailed individualized service from their intake form to post travel follow up. Cassie explains that it’s important to use an agent as they can bundle hotel, air, and transfers together, so couples and their guests get the best prices. “Destination weddings really simplify the process,” Cassie says, “The bride and groom get more time with their guests, and they allow guests to bond and create lifelong friendships.” Cassie is passionate about travel herself and loves facilitating incredible experiences for couples. or Brenda Keller the realization that help is essential when planning a wedding came after she did everything for her own wedding in 2002. “I did all my flowers, cake, and food. Pretty much everything,” Brenda explains. “The day after our wedding I said to my husband ‘What dummy does this to themselves?’” she laughs. Brenda went on to help plan weddings for family and friends and in 2006 Bridal Butler was officially born and she did her first wedding for someone she had not known. A former CNA, Brenda has been full time with Bridal Butler for the last six years. As the Bridal Butler, Brenda offers a wide variety of services to her wedding clients. First, a free consultation helps her understand a couple’s needs for their day. From there, pricing is decided, and the wedding date is held for two weeks. As soon as a contract is signed Brenda gets to work.
decor
“We do everything from rentals all the way up to full on decorating. We have linens, chair covers, ceiling décor, and centerpieces,” Brenda explains. She can also do artificial bouquets for brides and bridesmaids. Custom guestbooks are usually included in the couple’s package as well as custom signage. Brenda’s timeline is pretty fluid until two months before the wedding date. “The only thing I tell everyone is that everything needs to be decided two months out. If I have to buy something anything later than two months is too close and I may not be able to get what the couple wants,” Brenda says.
Brenda Keller | Bridal Butler www.facebook.com/brendabridalbutler
During the week of the wedding Brenda meets with the couple to ensure everything is set and takes it from there. Even with help, we all know planning a wedding comes with some stressors and Brenda is always there for her brides when they need to chat. “If bride is having a panic attack or they want to talk wedding stuff and no one else wants to, they can call me,” Brenda says. “I could talk about wedding stuff all day long and I never get bored of it!” How does Brenda continually facilitate unforgettable weddings? It's with the help of her three boys. After her husband, a big part of Bridal Butler, passed away last fall, Brenda’s sons Logan, Zachary, and Wyatt have stepped in and love weddings just as much as their mom. “Those boys are amazing. They take care of everything. Logan has done weddings on his own and Zachary wants to take over for me.” Staying true to her Bridal Butler name, Brenda does as much or as little as her couple’s need, much like a traditional butler would. “Whatever needs to get done, we’ll do it,” she explains. Helping couples have the most incredible day is Brenda’s priority and it’s a job she truly loves. “I just kind of fell into this but it’s the best job I’ve ever had,” she says smiling.

The Boho theme is still popular, but a shift of colors has brought a fresh look to the current trend. “We’re still seeing the pampas grass and eucalyptus,” Jacey explains, “The colors are shifting from burgundy and blush to browns, white, and rust.” With just a few dates available in 2022 at the time of print, Jacey’s advice to future brides is to book their florist early. Covid has shifted everything about the wedding industry and things like delays in shipping have affected florists. “Covid has changed my life and everybody else’s,” Jacey explains. “Hard goods like vases and ribbon and even florals are harder to get.” Because of these delays booking early and being flexible are keys to ensuring your florals complement your perfect day.
Jacey Nesland | Rustic Petals www.bismarckflowershop.com
The process of booking your florist shouldn’t be complicated. “If a bride comes in prepared for our consultation it should take 20 minutes,” Jacey explains. During a free consultation Jacey sits down with each bride and they talk through the bride’s vision for her wedding day. Jacey encourages brides to bring inspiration photos and prepare a list of everyone that will need flowers. Having a good idea of exactly what floral you’ll need on your wedding day helps Jacey put together a budget conscious proposal. Include centerpieces, corsages and boutonnieres, bride and bridal party bouquets as well as alter and memory arrangements. Each Rustic Petals wedding is customizable ensuring that no two weddings are the same. While colors and themes can be similar, Jacey likes to add small, creative touches that ensure her brides have unique bouquets and floral arrangements. If Jacey had free reign to design any kind of floral for a wedding, she’d include color. “I’d like to see vibrant colors and I love unique things,” she says. Jacey pours her heart and soul into each of her weddings and putting a smile on her bride’s faces is her priority. “Every bride has a vision and I get to bring it to life,” smiles Jacey.

hen sitting down to chat with Al Schirado, photographer at NewAge Creative, it's easy to hear the passion in his voice. He appreciates the opportunity to build relationships with his clients, he has a keen eye for candid moments, and his experience lends itself perfectly to capturing your best day ever.
photography
Al’s eye for photography was honed at a young age while homeschooling with his artist mom. A photographer herself, she asked Al to be a second shooter for her at a wedding and this sparked a love for photographing weddings for him. While his path in photography hasn’t been strictly weddings, it has afforded Al the opportunity to develop skills that transfer greatly over to the industry. “I’m shooting all kinds of things,” Al explains. “Commercial, family, boats, all those skills come together in a wedding day.” Detail shots, the candid moments, and the portraits are all images Al captures beautifully because of his well-rounded background. “You have to do so many different techniques throughout the day so having all those at my disposal from my six years of experience is good,” Al says. When looking through Al’s wedding photography the images are striking and a true reflection of the wedding day. Al’s editing style would be described as real. “Unless I’m asked, I typically stay within that very real look. I use higher F stops so the depth of field looks more like what our eyes see,” Al explains. “You can really see textures, colors are true, whites are white, and grandpa’s face is grandpa’s face.”
Al Schirado | NewAge Creative www.newagecreative.com
Establishing a connection with his couples is integral to Al’s photography. He appreciates meeting in person and enjoys getting to know each couple he works with. As you chat about your day and photos you would like, be prepared to answer what your favorite bird is as this is one of Al’s favorite questions to ask. The question might be a little quirky but it’s a nod to Al’s desire to get to know people on a personal level and it’s a great ice breaker, too. When it comes to photography packages, Al offers a more boutique experience. “Every single wedding is different. We have starting points but hearing a couple’s wants and needs very much effects pricing,” Al explains. He especially likes to tell the whole story of the wedding. “We do offer a more unique package. We’ll cover the groom’s dinner and/ or rehearsal dinner, then shoot the wedding on Saturday, and then shoot the gift opening or send off on Sunday.” If you’re looking for a photographer that appreciates the little moments, understands the beauty of candid images, and has a desire to capture you and your future spouse as you truly are, then Al with NewAge Creative is your guy.

A plethora of event spaces await you and your wedding party at the Radisson. A traditional ballroom with the capacity to hold 330 guests is awash in neutral colors offering the perfect backdrop for all of your décor dreams. The Radisson provides the basics to get you started including a dance floor, linens, dishware, skirting, and staging. Smaller meeting rooms can be used for bridal showers or grooms/rehearsal dinners or gift openings the morning after the wedding. “We try to tailor to our brides and make their day as special as we can,” Brenda Mack, catering manager, explains. The food at the Radisson is what really sets the venue apart from the rest. Chef Heath Stocks is using his talents to develop menus both aesthetically pleasing and palate satisfying. With the pandemic shifting the way food is served Chef Stocks has gotten creative with plating. “We’re trying to avoid the buffet and make a more intimate dining experience going with plated appetizers and entrees,” Chef explains.

And Chef ’s creations are as delicious as they are Instagramworthy. “We’re trying to stay avant garde and ahead of the curve as far as what we’re serving and what options are out there,” he adds. “I want to move toward an elegant event, let us serve you and your guests, and enjoy the wedding at the highest level we can provide.” Individual charcuterie boards and dessert boards make for delicious bookends to plated meals. Zorells Jewelry
the rings
Tim & Sharon Ell | Zorells Jewelry www.zorells.com Tim Ell, owner of Zorells Jewelry, is no stranger to the diamond industry. With life experience and incredible passion for his craft, Tim has built Zorells Jewelry into an experience you will never forget. “Our goal is to give each and every woman what we call the glass slipper moment, when she slides that ring on her finger and it’s the thing that she’s always dreamt of, her Cinderella moment, her happily ever after,” says Tim smiling. Zorells Jewelry is an experience from the moment you walk in, to the moment they ring the bells for you, but it doesn’t stop there. After that special moment of gifting a Zorells piece of jewelry you return for your Wine and Shine moment to make your piece sparkle again. They have a vast selection in their one of a kind showroom with lines, cuts and carats giving each person their special moment.
Verragio: “Unlike Any Other” The Bentley of all rings. Extreme Luxury. Zorells is one of the only distributors in the Upper Midwest of this designer. Each and every ring sparkles from all angles. Each ring is intricately designed to be unique from every vantage point. Of course the diamond on top sparkles, but the profiles, bottom, any way you look at it the ring shines. Even Verragio's most simple of rings have ornate detail, and with every movement his rings sparkle.
A. Jaffe
Any ring by A. Jaffe is something to be passed down for ages. Each A. Jaffe ring is cast using patented vacuum pressure technology creating a stronger band than most other rings that are available on the market giving you an heirloom quality that can last a lifetime. A. Jaffe’s unique quilted shanks also uniquely grips the finger to alleviate slipping and turning.
“I Do” Collection The “I Do” Collection has the sparkle and glow of a larger carat, but at an affordable price. This collection sparkles like crazy and lights up any room she walks into. There is a product for everyone and every budget in this collection, and each piece is completely customizable.
Give Her Goosebumps
The exclusive Goosebump diamond comes in all shapes and can be custom designed specifically for your special someone. “I've been saying give her goosebumps forever, don't just give her a ring, give her goosebumps! A goosebump diamond! There's nothing else you can buy her that she wears and enjoys every day for her whole life, so why not make it give her goosebumps every morning she wakes up,” exclaims Tim. Since opening 16 years ago, it has been the mission of Zorells Jewelry to give her goosebumps. Now with the Goosebump diamond line and collection, it has come full circle.
Follow The Trends @zorellsjewelry
Tim prides himself not only on the experience and stunning atmosphere, but also his exclusive patented line of diamonds he has brought to Zorells that is only available in the store. Tim Ell has worked with other master diamond cutters to help create his signature jewelry line, The Goosebump Collection. The Zorells' trademark Goosebump diamond is a specific cut of diamond that Tim has created himself. “I started my career as a diamond cutter, I used to play with the facets in the arrangements to see what it would do for the sparkle, there's a science behind it. The traditional ideal cut diamond came out over 100 years ago and science has proven that it's not necessarily ideal anymore. I wanted to have something special for all the people that come in; I worked with master diamond cutters all around the world and together, based on our knowledge, we came up with the Goosebump diamond,” says Tim proudly.

mily Vernlund is a fireball of energy and exudes joy to everyone she meets. She is the owner of Midwest Cryo and Wellness. Cryo what? Cryotherapy, or also known as cold therapy, is a noninvasive therapy for many different things that is sweeping the nation. Cryotherapy can be used to treat so many different things including inflammation and pain management, freeze inches off your body, and even help with aging…which Emily calls her Frotox. After many years of struggling with health issues, Emily was diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease that attacks the body’s tissues and organs, making every day activities like walking painful. Not only did it cause severe joint pain but also can give you what’s called a butterfly rash along your nose and cheeks on your face. Emily tried everything to help manage the pain and finally stumbled upon Cryotherapy. “I was down in Texas and tried a Cryotherapy chamber for your whole body. I felt amazing, it was like nothing I had ever experienced, my pain was gone and I didn’t have to take a steroid to feel this way. I knew I had to know more about this natural way to feel better,” expresses Emily.
cryo
Emily dove deep into the research of Cryotherapy and found out the amazing benefits of Cryotherapy and where she could learn to do it on herself. Emily was able to find a smaller machine to use on herself for pain management for localized Cryotherapy. Rather than a large chamber you step into, Emily’s machine looks more like a small spray gun with different attachments for joints, face and other parts of the body. This allows her to target specific areas you want to focus on and makes the treatments much more cost effective. Emily can not only help alleviate joint pain and inflammation, but Cryotherapy also has some vanity benefits, too. “Wellness to me is whatever makes you feel good, whether that is working out or getting a spray tan or whatever it might be, you deserve to feel good,” expresses Emily. That is her motto with her business and she only promotes and offers services that she believes in.
Emily Vernlund | Midwest Cryo and Wellness www.midwestcryoandwellness.com 701.260.0139
“Cyrotherapy can be used for so many different things, including wrinkle prevention, or as I call Frotox, it can also be used to freeze inches off your tummy or remove cellulite and it can be used to keep skin healthy. It is an incredible noninvasive, organic and healthy way to feel beautiful,” describes Emily. Unlike other forms of wrinkle prevention there is no down time with Cryotherapy, you may be a little red from the cold temperature, but you walk in and walk out with zero down time and move on with your day, but it does take some time. “Everyone is different, I typically recommend 3 sessions for facial wrinkle prevention and tightening. What happens with Cryotherapy is that we bring the body down to a very low temperature, then the body works overtime producing new healthy cells to rush to that isolated part of the body that we are focusing on. Because of the naturalness of the therapy your body needs time to remake those cells so I have seen results in as little as two weeks or as long as six weeks, but it is amazing what the body can do naturally,” expresses Emily. Cryotherapy is located in Desirae’s Makeup and Beauty Lounge on North 5th Street in downtown Bismarck. Emily is there Tuesday’s and Fridays and is also located in Killdeer and Dickinson. Midwest Cryo & Wellness is the perfect way to start your wedding beauty treatments and wedding beauty routine, whether you are suffering from pain and want to walk down the aisle with ease, take a few inches off the tummy or maybe you want that natural glow, Emily is the girl to see. Not only does she offer Cryotherapy, but teeth whitening services and spray tans, too. She’s a one stop shop for bridal beauty. Oh and don’t forget to ask her about her Hello Gorgeous Package… which includes a full makeover with Desirae and services with Emily.

or over thirty-five years White Lace Bridal has been the premier bridal store in Bismarck. Countless brides have found their perfect gown among the rows and rows of satin, tulle, and lace at the downtown store. Owner Anne Cleary is proud of the work she and her staff have done to make brides feel their best on the most important day of their lives. Serving her clients and creating an unforgettable experience are Anne’s priorities, so during Covid she had to adjust the way she did business to ensure brides were getting the best experience while feeling safe and respecting guidelines. While somewhat of a challenge it also created an opportunity to enhance the wedding gown shopping experience at White Lace.
dress
“We had to alter our appointments because of Covid. Now that we’re finding a sense of normalcy again, we’re keeping some of the changes we made,” Anne explains. Small group sizes during regular appointments and private appointments will continue as is. The addition of a VIP experience elevates the private appointment and adds a touch of luxury to an already exciting day. “During the VIP appointments we set up and stage the store in a way that allows for more guests and food and drinks are provided. A table is set up with a charcuterie board, dessert tray, and mimosas,” Anne explains. “It feels more like an event.” Brides choosing the VIP experience have the store completely to themselves and a portion of the appointment fee of $200 goes towards the dress. This encourages brides to seek out this special experience and come into their appointment with the concept of truly finding THE dress.
WLB Team | White Lace Bridal www.whitelacebridalnd.com
VIP experiences are limited to outside of walk-in hours, so this option is a great way to work around busy schedules and those working a nine-to-five job that may not be able to get in during regular shop hours. “It also makes it feel a little less stressed because there aren’t people around that you don’t know. You’re not limited in who can be in the store, and it just gives you a little more freedom and makes for a special experience,” Anne says. 2022 is potentially going to be the biggest wedding year since 1984 and White Lace Bridal appointments are booking up fast. “This is another reason why we’ve started offering private appointments,” Anne says. “This is a way for us to make sure every bride has that experience and can shop at White Lace.” Providing quality experiences and exceptional service to Bismarck and the surrounding area is at the forefront of White Lace Bridal’s goals. Anne states, “We are actively trying to cater to our community as best we can. This is going to be a wild year so trying to adapt the best we can and offering these extra appointments is a way our staff can help make sure our local brides are getting the best experience they can have.”
