It’s summertime! Boy, have we waited for and deserve a long summer this year. Welcome to the new and improved summer issue of Bismarck Magazine. If you haven’t heard the news or haven’t flipped the cover, let me be the first to tell you that this issue is bigger and better than ever! We added a fun new feature to Bismarck Magazine…Mandan Magazine.

Bismarck Magazine has partnered with Mandan Progress Organization to help highlight and feature even more of Mandan. In this issue of Bismarck Magazine, you will get to read all about our community’s incredible Hidden Hometown Heroes. For the past five years we have partnered with the Bismarck Larks and Bismarck Scheels to help us highlight the amazing people in our community. This year has a special twist. We are highlighting those Hidden Hometown Heroes who are survivors and their advocates.

We are cheerleading those who have survived cancer, accidents, addiction, depression, suicide, abuse, and more. We also want to champion their biggest advocates, the people who have lost someone or helped someone through that tough time, and are making a change to inspire others around them. After reading about all ten heroes, head to www.northwoodsleague.com/bismarck-larks to vote for your top three favorite heroes. Voting runs May 1st through the 19th.
