Q: HOW OFTEN SHOULD I UPDATE CONTENT ON MY WEBSITE?
A: Your business experiences many changes/updates within a single calendar year – and so should your website! In this column, learn three (of many) reasons it is crucial to update your website’s content.
Firstly, a fresh coat of content can significantly enhance your website’s visual appeal. Nothing turns users off faster than broken links, poor functionality, and outdated information; keep your audience engaged with fresh content and visuals.
Secondly, regular updates also allow your visitors to stay informed on new services, products, and what your business has been up to! When past visitors return to your website, an updated experience can help retain their interest and - in turn - their business.
Lastly, updated content can benefit your presence within search engines! Companies like Google frequently update their algorithms, so keeping your content current can help show that you are reputable within your industry - making you more likely to show up in searches.
If you’ve fallen behind on updating your content or just need to give your online presence a facelift - HexaHive is here to lend a hand! Simply email info@hexahive. co to schedule your free consultation and get started.
Q: I HAVE HEARD BCC HAS A PET THERAPY PROGRAM. CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT IT AND THE BENEFITS?
A: The Bismarck Cancer Center is excited to announce a new support service we are offering to our patients. We started the program in November of 2022. The “Love on a Leash” certified pet therapy dogs have been coming to the Bismarck Cancer Center to visit patients, caregivers, and staff. The benefits of a Pet Therapy program include reducing anxiety and depression, helping to lower stress, improving overall mood, and providing comfort. At the Bismarck Cancer Center, we strive to support the whole patient-mind, body, and spirit. Max, Zeke, Sierra, Eddie, and Wrigley are the dogs that visit periodically with their owners, and we have received positive feedback. With help from the pets, we are hoping to provide additional comfort to our patients receiving treatment at the Bismarck Cancer Center.
