STUDENTS GRADUATE FROM STUDENT LEADERSHIP NETWORK PROGRAM

The 2022-2023 Student Leadership Network has ended! The leadership program was comprised of local juniors and seniors in high school. Students visited various businesses to learn all about what leadership in their community looks like.

As one Mandan High Senior said of her time, “the Student Leadership Network was one of the most valuable experiences I had during high school. I have a totally new perspective on our community and all the ways I can be involved in it.”

Applications for the Chamber EDC’s Student Leadership Network program are provided directly to the local schools the beginning of September each year. The Williston Basin Petroluem Conference is your connection to the Bakken. The conference and trade show will be held May 13-16, 2024 in Bismarck, ND.

Now in its 30th year, the conference takes place annually in Saskatchewan and North Dakota on alternating years. This conference is one of the preeminent gatherings for North America's energy sector and is co-hosted by the Government of Saskatchewan, Government of North Dakota, North Dakota Petroleum Council and Petroleum Technology Research Centre.

The conference is named after the Williston Basin, which is a major oil producing region including area of Saskatchewan, North and South Dakota, Manitoba, and Montana. The conference attracts business, technical and government leaders who come together to share technical advancements and business opportunities specific to the region.

The Williston Basin Petroleum Conference is the largest Bakken conference and expo in the world, featuring more than 60 speakers, more than 250 vendor booths, and more than 2,500 attendees.

Registration will open around November 1, 2023.
