BSC Continuing Education is part of the North Dakota University System, so many of the terms used on the registration site refer to students. REFUND/DROP POLICY

Students must contact BSC Continuing Education at least five business days prior to the start of class for a refund. A $25 processing fee will be deducted from the amount refunded. If a transfer to another course is made, the $25 processing fee will be applied to the other course. If a student cancels fewer than five days before the first day of class, the entire registration is forfeited. No refunds are given after an online course has been accessed. Cash or check refunds are made by mail; if you paid with a credit card your card will be credited. Allow three weeks to process refunds. Victim Advocacy Certificate Course Online

Participants will be prepared to work in victim advocacy arenas, such as domestic violence shelters, crisis centers, crisis hotlines, and with state and county governments to assist crime victims in progressing through the criminal justice system and toward successful recovery. Course topics include legal terminology, legal process, and legislation regarding victims’ rights, jurisdiction and venue, ethics, effects of victimization on the victim, victim advocate skills, guardianships and crisis intervention. It also covers counseling skills for victims of assault, battery, robbery, domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, murder and homicide. Class is seven weeks in length. AutoCAD Applications

Students in this class will gain valuable real-world CAD skills that translate to successful projects on the job. Topics that will be covered are a more advanced 2D application set, 3D object creating & modeling, drawing file management, and printing/publishing drawing files.
