After Action Review: A review of actions, procedures, and policies that is conducted after an incident or exercise to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas of improvement. Campus Emergency Response Team: College staff and faculty who are trained to respond to minor emergencies on campus and assist Campus Police with evacuations. Campus State of Emergency: A declaration which usually suspends a few normal functions of the college, alerts staff, faculty and students to change their normal behaviors, or implements parts of the emergency operations plan. Assurance: The system used by BSC to notify staff, faculty, and students of emergency situations on campus or affecting a campus.
