Being Strong Counts Get 8xs stronger with a new way of exercising twice a week in the outdoors this summer. Every week get your aerobic fitness in at Bismarck State College (in the Bowl). Yes, on the football field we go for maximum cardio, on the mat for Pilates core stability, social distancing with Strong by Zumba for building strength, take it to the bleachers for step aerobics, grab a band for some hardcore arm flexibility, cool it down with some stretching and repeat again the next week! No worries about keeping a distance of six feet away when you have the Bowl a your gym for two days. You choose the days that work best and show up prepared to sweat.
Please Note: In case of inclement weather, the class will move to a safer location. Participants should bring a filled water bottle and wear clothes geared to work out.

Class enrollment will be limited and classrooms will be cleaned between morning/afternoon STEAM sessions. Virtual Offerings AYURVEDA - A TIMELESS LIFESTYLE There is a lot of talk about mindfulness but how does one learn about it, and can this mindset really make a difference? For Brenda Stone, it did when she learned about Ayurveda, the science of life, the oldest holistic system of self awareness to promote a healthier and happier lifestyle. Brenda is a Certified Ayurveda Teacher who will lead a class discussion about Ayurveda and her experiences. She will talk about the process and how it worked for her.
