Consistently original, diverse, inventive and timelessness are the hallmarks of Parish Kohanim’s photography. His uncommon use of colors, whether vibrant or pastel, as well as his stunning and luminous black & white images have become his distinctive and unique signature and style. In the early part of his career, he worked as a commercial photographer working on major ad campaigns for many Fortune 500 companies, major publications, advertising agencies, and design firms. He is a winner of numerous national and international awards. His main passion and focus remains in producing his fine art imagery exclusively. “Beauty is the very essence of art… this is the very reason why we make music, paint, photograph, and write poetry,” Parish says. “We take something that exists within all of us at our very fundamental core of emotions and through our artistic vision and lens and through our creativity we are able to shape these emotions into reality. And this reality of expression reaches all of us, moves, inspires, and unites us. Phography has given me an expanded vision of the majestic beauty of the world…. Elavating my spirit, offering me the profound pleasure and passion to not only capture but share this sublime beauty. There is no sustitute for the joy, appreciation and fullfilment that this priceless gift has brought into my life.”
