SARAH PACINI The Red Thread of Destiny... This beautiful legend is the source of inspiration for Sarah Pacini’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection. The legend of The Red Thread of Destiny suggests that each person we meet along our journey through life is linked to us since birth, by a single red thread, and that nothing is due to chance. This enchanted story suggests that this thread may become tangled and twisted, but it will never break.
CECE BY CYNTHIA STEFFE Cece is the first sign of Spring. She lives in the moment, wild at heart, the “it” girl, the little sister we love... Cynthia Steffe was founded in 1989 and is based in New York City. The brand is feminine, modern, flirty and fun. Dresses have texture and embellishment, making them perfect for any occasion. The clothing has been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, In Style, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, and Allure to name a few.
1. STATE State of Mind... 1. State is a contemporary sportswear collection that launched exclusively at Nordstrom on February 1, 2014 for the Spring season and the collection will open up to other retailers this Fall 2014. 1. State is a clean, modern architectural design that is geared toward the young, independent woman who is brilliant, beautiful, knows fashion, is tapped in, globally aware and writes her own story. 1. State has been featured in In Style, Oprah, and People Style Watch.

LISA TODD It’s luxury with a wink that becomes a favorite “go-to” piece... Lisa Todd is a luxury knitwear collection meticulously crafted around the idea that women have fun, look great, and feel delicious. All garments are made of rich premium yarns that come to life with splashes of color, graphics, and detailed finishings.
LUNN Radiates an international network... LUNN is designed by the design team of LILITH and offers a complementary style, timeless and casual elegance for everyday. A creative concept equally accessible but predominantly based on a collection of comfortable jerseys. LUNN is present in France, Europe, the United States, Middle East, Australia and Asia.
SITA MURT Passionate, active, curious, and always creative... Sita Murt is glamour with a touch of creative eccentricity. This celebrated designer’s clothes appeared in the Woody Allen film Vicky Cristina Barcelona starring Penélope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson. Her creations are small tributes to the active woman who juggles a thousand things at the same time.
SECOND YOGA JEANS We set off to have ‘the’ most comfortable jeans in the world... Launched to the general public in 2007, Yoga Jeans™ combined two words that had never gone together – Yoga (flexibility) and Jeans (often restricting). This unexpected pairing is why the trademark board of Canada was reluctant to approve their application, but following a detailed explanation on Yoga Jeans™ denim, all was understood and approved. The people behind Yoga Jeans™ are a group of talented professionals that put technology, insight, good energies, positive karma, and creativity all in one melting pot to bring to market, season after season, a jean that makes women feel confident, beautiful and at peace with their bodies.

Tell us about the artistic pieces at Brandimport.
Brandimport has been offering beautiful, sophisticated, delicate and vintage-inspired Japanese handcrafted fashion accessories for the past few years. Currently, our products are distributed by over 30 retail stores in Japan that cater to our growing customer base. We have our own design teams and produce these products exclusively in Japan. Our artisans offer hundreds of years of rich heritage, which they in turn use to create artistic works for fashion accessories, gifts, and home decor with added touches of modern elements.
What sets your pieces apart from others?
Our artists create products using techniques that have been passed down from generations of fine craftsman. Therefore, these handcrafts are very unique. Each piece is original and cannot be found anywhere else. We also collaborate with talented independent designers from all over the East to create new collections each season.
What’s your favorite part about conceptualizing a new design?
My favorite part is when I communicate with our key designers to discuss the details of the work. You need to use a lot of imagination to visualize the piece and the discussion becomes very stimulating when ideas start to fly. We use flowers as a key component to create all kinds of fashion pieces. We try to capture, imitate, and preserve the beauty of the flowers from nature by using all kind of materials including silk, fabric, lace, preserved flowers, and metal.
What is one important thing you have learned in the last five years?
ACCESSORIESTHESHOW
The American market is a completely new market for us. We spent over one and a half years researching this market alone. After numerous meetings and travels between Japan, USA, and other Asian countries, we found that color preference and accessory usage is very different for each country. We had to select and alter the products to suit the American market. We are also planning to launch our site in a few Asian countries in the future and we will apply the same concept to cater to the needs of each market.
DOMINIE LUXURY DOMINIE BRAZZEL · OWNER · WWW.DOMINIELUXURY.COM · BOOTH 314
What is the meaning behind “Luxury Unearthed?”
During my years in period costuming and wardrobe, I had the joy of discovering one-of-a-kind garments with an attention to detail that seems to have been lost over the years. It’s as if I’ve unearthed something so rare and beautiful that comes from nature and lives on with us today. This experience had a great impact on my designs. It is the essence of my design style.
What materials and techniques are used in designs that help make your jewelry so unique?
We utilize colorful exotic skins, leathers and the finest Italian silks to complement stunning hardware and precious stone embellishments (including a spectrum of diamonds, sapphires, rubies, and emeralds) to create our timeless pieces. The hardware is forged by renowned Italian jeweler, Stefano Grando, who hails from a celebrated lineage of jewelers dating back to the late 19th century. Both the unearthed natural beauty of the materials and the expertise of the artisans who work with them come together to create unique, beautiful products.
What is inspiring you right now?
Classic style and romance are always a great source of inspiration for me. My D by Dominie clear jelly tote was designed with the spontaneity of a bathing suit, a toothbrush, and a sense of adventure in mind.
How do you personally stay up-to-date with fashion?
I am a magazine addict – I’ve never met someone who goes through as many magazines as I do. However, even though I do spend a great deal of time watching the runways and researching and forecasting color and future trends, I find it equally important, if not more so, to know where fashion has been. By drawing both from classical and current style, I search for that perfect balance to create something truly timeless.

JOHNNY LOVES JUNE DONNA SCHONS · OWNER & DESIGNER · WWW.JOHNNYLOVESJUNE.COM · BOOTH 315
What is the meaning behind the brand’s name?
Johnny Loves June was named in remembrance of the one the greatest love stories known, Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. It signifies the struggles of most everyone, and through belief and devotion, anyone can have a second chance to live life to its fullest, to love, and be loved.
How has the company developed over time?
After the recession of 2008, Johnny Loves June was born during a process of redefining itself. I found my creative talents in coming up with new and innovative designs of jewelry. I make every effort to provide unique and trendsetting pieces that my boutique store customers now look to me for.
What materials and techniques are used in your designs that help make its jewelry unique?
Johnny Loves June designs combine natural components of deer leather, freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones, and turquoise. The line uses the best available components to make every piece the quality their customer looks for, but at an affordable price point. All pieces are handmade with pride to order and warranteed for customer satisfaction.
What is inspiring you right now?
The Boho, Gypset, Western, American Indian, and religious influences for Johnny Loves June fortunately seem to be the current trends now. Our proven success comes from staying close to that segment of the fashion industry and not trying to stray too much. We just want to be the best at what we do.
POTLUCK PARIS PATTI MCKILLOP · OWNER · WWW.POTLUCKPRESS.COM · BOOTH 407
What were your biggest influences this season?
We sell our collection culled from sources in Paris, France. Because of the economy, we went with items with an attractive price point for the US market.
ACCESSORIESTHESHOW
What do you think will draw retailers to this collection?
We think retailers will be drawn to our collection because the jewelry is designed and made in Paris. The pieces can be dressed up or down and it translates well from play to business to evening. Retailers will be drawn to the luxurious, sensual feel of the beautiful mixed metals.
What’s your favorite part about conceptualizing a new design?
I wish I could take credit for their wonderful designs, but I can’t. The companies we work with have very experienced designers with a lot of schooling and practice.
What is one “must-have” trend in accessories this season?
It would be wearing many smaller bracelets creating a stacking effect on the wrist. In this case, more is best.
If you could teach an aspiring designer one thing, what would it be?
We all need a little inspiration when designing a collection. Study the designers you love and look for trends in the market. Most importantly though, you have to be true to what you would wear yourself or your heart won’t be in the designing of the jewelry.
