Between He and It consists of a short series of minimalist illustrations centering around half human, half object figures. The book is sectioned off by drawing, starting with the complete sketch, and then transitioning into pages of distorted and cut out pictures of the same image. While beautiful and plain at first glance, the final, warped images provide a wonderfully haunting experience. A short, creative piece at the beginning of the book, written by Brianna Key accompanies the work.
