NEW PATHWAYS FAMILY SHELTER | CAMBRIDGE, MN

Margaret Burns and Cheryl Gray established New Pathways, Inc. in Cambridge, Minnesota in 2000 as an all-encompassing resource for families experiencing homelessness. Supporting families is a team effort, which is why our Path to Home shelter chose a model that relies on hundreds of local volunteers. Our hope is to connect families with people and resources that will help them to be successful long term. We want to see families thrive, as opposed to just survive. This includes meals, a safe, warm place to sleep, and skills and resources necessary to find and maintain housing www.newpathwaysmn.com

Mission

To build a stronger community by providing shelter and support services to families with children experiencing homelessness.

Impact

The majority of the clients we serve are children. Together with our partners, we’ve served over 1,000 children and 700 families since 2000.

Of the children we served last year, 57% were under the age of five. 79% of the clients we served last year secured permanent housing.

Hope lives here — A path to hope, healing, home.
