By investing in local chapters as ACE mentors, we will help support students desiring to pursue a career in our fields of expertise, motivate them to attend college, and educate them about design skills not taught in their everyday classrooms.

We will continue to develop and invest in internal LGBTQ+ initiatives to bolster cultural inclusivity.

Habitat For Humanity

Habitat for Humanity’s principles focus on shelter, advocating for affordable housing, and supporting sustainable and transformative development. This ties directly to the great work we do in strengthening our communities.

National Organization For Minority Architects

We will support and mentor minorities in our profession as architectural and design students, recruit more black design staff, and bolster our total number of black professionals in our firm.

Societal Impact

BKV Group is conducting on-going design outreach initiatives to support AIA MN’s call to “Support Businesses & Communities in Minneapolis & St. Paul Impacted by the Unrest.” This is a significant investment we’ve made to repair our communities nationwide which were damaged and impacted from the unrest with volunteering our time and our areas of expertise.

Societal Impact

Businesses and organizations will be matched with our design teams based on their needs to safely occupy, repair damaged spaces, or envision new built space.

To support the education of minority and women students, and support schools aligned with our disciplines within each practice site (architecture, interior design, landscape design, and engineering). By establishing eight (8) BKV funded $1,000 annual scholarships for Minority and Women Undergraduate Students, we can help diversity our industry and groom the next generation of designers, while also creating an opportunity for each student to work with us during the following summer to gain professional design experience.

By supporting undergraduate minority and women students across the nation and working with local institutions on a regular basis, we can help students progress through their education and help support a and mentor the next generation of A/E/C professionals.
