Landscape architecture firm Hoerr Schaudt, developed ‘The Circle’ as a multi purpose sustainable roundabout that clenses and circulates stormwater. As it provides for these environmental qualities it also is used as a community space, for members of the general public to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Given its shape it forms a connection to the rest of the city by bringing people into a space that can be accessed from all angles s .

The garden in Jinzhou China referred to as the Celtic Garden is part of a “176 large park build”. The form was inspired by a “castros” . Which the architects have achieved through the lapping of circular form. Every feature of the park remains coherant and is experessed in a way that is relevant to the overall form. Within the centre lies a glass cylinder that holds an interpretation centre. The architectures intended for one side to be elevated out of the ground level and on the other side to be dug into the ground. The ideas that are present within this design are very similar to my approach of the interim design I had. The issues associated with these forms is that besides from having grass covering the concrete they can look quite structural and heavy. One may argue whether it integrates well with the landscape. s. ggcvjnriEverything v

The inital form did not express my intention for spaces within a space to a realisable degree.
