‘I think they’re sort of laser-focused on the UK market now, which is probably the right thing to do.’

‘It wasn’t all that long ago that the diesel version of any car, bar perhaps a supermini, was the de facto choice.’

‘The 408 is a very interesting addition to Peugeot’s range and shows that there’s life outside of an SUV.’

‘The automotive industry is already delivering growth that bucks the national trend.’

With less than a month to go now until our inaugural Car Dealer Live conference, excitement about the event is mounting among dealers keen to find out what the future holds, courtesy of exclusive research and insight from top names within the automotive industry.

Cambria Automobiles boss Mark Lavery will be one of the headline guests at the conference, which is being held at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon on Thursday, March 9, with headline partner Auto Trader plus sponsors Cox Automotive and Close Brothers Motor Finance also taking part, delivering exclusive White Papers. Event partner Google will be there too, to discuss future trends for used car buyers.

Also lined up are a franchised dealer panel and an independent dealer panel – full details on the right – plus a manufacturer panel comprising Polestar UK CEO Jonathan Goodman, MG Motor UK commercial director Guy Pigounakis and Suzuki UK director Dale Wyatt offering a session on what they think car retailing will look like in the future.

It’s the event no car dealer can afford to miss!

Attendees will be able to enjoy thought-provoking panel sessions during the day, with coffee and pastries upon arrival and a buffet lunch included in the ticket price.

Car Dealer editor-in-chief James Baggott, who will be hosting the event alongside associate editor James Batchelor, said: ‘Our Car Dealer Live video sessions were extremely popular throughout the pandemic and beyond as we brought the industry to life with insights into a variety of businesses.

‘This event takes that concept and hosts it live on stage so the industry can not only enjoy the thought-provoking sessions we have planned but also enjoy the chance to catch up with colleagues. Think of the Car Dealer Live conference as the Live Stage from CDX all in one place and you won’t go far wrong.

‘We’ll be interviewing some incredible guests and revealing some exclusive research which will be sure to inspire our attendees. It’s going to be a great day.’
