Spring 2021 Dear Fellow Cattle Producers, Welcome to the 1st Annual Blackbelt Marketing Company Spring Fling Replacement Heifer Sale! It is a privilege to offer this outstanding set of bred replacement females for your consideration. These Fall calving heifers are some of the best genetics and quality not only in the Southern United States but in the entire country. On Friday, May 28th, you will have the opportunity to choose from genetics that are highly sought after and rarely available. These females will have a productive place in your herds for many years to come. Each heifer is guaranteed to be bred on sale day. They have been screened for quality and structural correctness. The performance has been bred into each of these heifers. Additional videos, photos and information on each set of females can be found on our website. If you have any questions, please give us a call, a text or an email. The full catalog will be available on sale day. If you are unable to attend the sale in person, we will handle your bids in a most confidential manner. Cattle will be ready to view at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, May 28th at the Alabama Livestock Auction in Uniontown, AL. 5E Ranch offering consists of 13 bred Blackwater Brangus Will start sired heifers from Brangus and Braford type dams. This is calving in a nice set of BWF heifers showing ¼ to near ½ ear with October just enough leather. They are slick hided females with lots of maternal. Bred to a low birth wt EPD bull in the top 10% 2021 for maternal and top 25% for REA from CK Cattle.

These heifers are sired by Johnston Brangus bulls out of 1/4 blood Brahman Angus females that will be showing quarter to near half ear. Fancy set of heifers from a herd well known for high quality Brahman influenced females. Black. Good leather and slick hided females. These ABBA Golden Certified F1 Brahman/Angus heifers will be a fancy group of the hard to find true F1’s. They are bred to paternal half-sib SimAngus(TM) bulls sired out of Dixon NS Gambler A302 from the Next Step Cattle Company Program. These bulls have calving ease, growth and carcass in one package. Heifers are all solid black.


Collins Farm moved from Montgomery to Cusseta, AL in Will start 1944. Their predominately Angus commercial herd is calving in known for producing functional females selected for fertility November and longevity. Given their breeding strategies, their females are basically half-sibs. Their consignment is bred 2021 to a son of Deer Valley Old Hickory.

H & T Cattle Company is noted for their heifer development in Carrollton Ga. The group of heifers being offered are Angus, Hereford and Brahman cross heifers with about ¼ ear. Heifers were AI'ed to Connealy Liberty 837A, an Angus bull in the top 5% for calving ease, birth, weaning and yearling weight. Clean-up bull is also a calving ease bull. Calving will begin in late September.

The Johnston Cattle offering comes from the heart of their commercial breeding heifers. Black with a few BWF with tons of growth as well as maternal and carcass in these females. Heifers will be slick hided and deep sided showing ¼ to ⅜ ear and bred to Brangus and Ultra-Black bulls. Service sires will produce calves that are not only easy calving but have the growth potential to make the load at weaning time. Will start calving in late September 2021


Jones Farms of Brandon Mississippi breeds, raises and develops true F1 Brahman Angus and Brahman Hereford females. The Jones offering will feature 24 F1 Brahman/Angus and 25 F1 Brahman/Hereford bred heifers that are exposed to calving ease Angus bulls. Will start calving in September 2021

For the past 20 years, Kenansville Cattle Company has utilized a true three breed rotational crossbreeding system with Brahman, Hereford and Red Angus genetics. Their offering will be sired by CK Ranch Hereford bulls and Kempfer Brahman bulls. All are bred to Shuler Red Angus bulls selected for calving ease, growth and carcass quality. Heifers in this offering averaged 650 lbs. at weaning. Since 2018, 2280 calves sent to the feedlot averaged 800 lbs. HCW, 91.2% YG 1, 2 or 3 and 63% Choice and Prime.

Fancy group of Hereford and Angus sired heifers from Brahman dams. There will be black and tigerstripe heifers to choose from. Heifers are true half-bloods and are a gentle hand raised group. Bred to a top 20% calving ease SimAngus(TM) bull with superior milk and marbling genetics from the Next Step Cattle Company program. Will start calving in October 2021

This is a solid set of Angus and SimAngus(TM) crossbred heifers raised on sandy land in the heart of the Blackbelt. Easy keeping and moderate framed females bred to a BWF calving ease Next Step Cattle Company SimAngus(TM) Bull which will result in Black and BWF calves. Will start calving in October 2021

Sims Farm breeds, raises and develops quality replacement heifers year in and year out. This offering is black and BWF Brangus type heifers showing about ⅜ ear. Heifers are smooth made and deep sided with plenty of muscle. Bred to Niagara sired Angus bulls from Prairie Eden Angus. Will start calving in October 2021

What an offering of SimAngus (TM) genetics! These are the top cut of replacement heifers bred, raised and developed at Stephens Farm. These heifers are all sired by one of four powerful AI sires: Comrade, Madison, Niagara and Robust. The majority of these heifers (13/15) are confirmed pregnant to the Angus AI sire, Tahoe, who is a calving ease bull in the top 10% for weaning, yearling, marbling and REA. The cleanup sire is a solid son of Comrade. These heifers are all eligible to be registered with the Simmental Assn. at the buyer's request.

These registered Hereford and Angus heifers are deep bodied with spring of rib and muscling. Hereford 9124 is pregnant with a purebred Hereford heifer calf out of a horned Shaw Hereford bull. The other 3 heifers are bred to a calving ease Angus bull sired by SAV Rainfall 6846. Tremendous set of purebred heifers.

The York heifers are Angus sired females from Brangus and Braford type cows. They are deep bodied and slick hided heifers showing ¼ ear with a little leather throughout. Black and BWF. York Farms LLC have raised all of their replacements for the past 10 years emphasizing maternal traits. Bred to a Prairie Eden Angus Niagara son in the top 35% for weaning and top 20% for yearling weight. Will start calving in November 2021
