LOOKBOOK 10: LONG OR LAYERED PENDANTS
Just like stud earrings are getting bigger, pendant necklaces are trending longer. The shorter/collar pendant silhouette has been trending since last holiday, and even though its still a staple silhouette, we are seeing a ton of longer statement pendants and layered pendants on recent runways. So, keep your pendants, but lengthen the chains!
Scale is still important when it comes to statement styling. Because of this, some of our new designs feature elevated componentry such as semi-precious stones and cabochons to offer a more enlarged and contemporary look.
Pendants are certainly an ultimate cool girl accessory that reads a bit more casual. Because this is an item that can easily be thrown on with a t-shirt and jeans, it is important to register silver plating; not only because silver is currently trending over gold, but also because it lends itself to be more easily styled when it comes to casual wear which is also trending.
