The Defqon.1 Saturday Festival ticket provides access to Defqon.1 on Saturday September 19th from 11am – 11pm. Lockout at 7pm.
IF YOU ARE CAMPING You can park your car right by the venue for the weekend for $20. Make sure to take everything you need, as you won’t have access to your car for the weekend. Parking on Friday September 18th will be via the Gate C entrance at the Regatta Centre, which is accessed from Old Castlereagh Rd.

The Defqon.1 campsite opens at 11am on Friday September 18th, with gates closing at 9pm sharp; and the latest checkout time is at 1pm on Sunday September 20th. The music on the campground kicks off at Midday on Friday, with The Gathering taking place from 6pm till 11pm on the main Camping Stage. The Prep Zone, toilets, showers, and Living Room are open 24hrs for your convenience. The Bar, Food, and Camping Store close at midnight on both nights. Power points will be available in the Prep Zone, and you can charge your phone using the pocket sized mobile phone chargers on the campsite.
Defqon.1 Festival On Saturday September 19th the doors of the main event open at 11am, and the last performance finishes at 11pm. The latest time to enter the festival on Saturday is 7pm.
PASS-OUTS There are NO pass-outs from Defqon.1. Once you leave the event, you cannot re-enter.
HELICOPTER FLIGHT & RIDES At Defqon.1 Festival you can take a helicopter flight over the festival site and its surroundings, enjoy a thrilling ride on the back of a jet ski, or try the amazing jetpack experience. Tickets for all rides can be purchased on the day of the event directly from each ride’s vendor. First come, first served!
TOKENS All food, and beverages at Defqon.1 need to be paid for with tokens. Tokens can be purchased from the designated Token Booths at the event, and are non-refundable.
WEATHER Although we try our best to provide an unforgettable time at Defqon.1, we unfortunately cannot control the weather. The event will proceed rain, hail or shine. The temperature on the Island can rise to over 30 degrees during the day, and drop dramatically to 5 degrees in the evening. Please bring your sunscreen, and warm clothing. Cloaking facilities will be available.
ENTRY CONDITIONS Defqon.1 is an over 18s event. One of the following forms of ID is required: 1. Over 18s RTA photo ID 2. Valid photo drivers’ license 3. Current photo passport For more info on what to bring and what to leave at home, check the full entry conditions at Defqon1.com.au.
NO LAD POLICY Lads and Lad clothing will not be allowed into the event.
ZERO TOLERANCE DRUG POLICY Our highest priority during is to create a memorable and above all safe Defqon.1 experience for everyone who comes to party with us. We want to make you aware that the use of illicit substances carries a range of health risks including the possibility of death, and is strictly forbidden at this event. There will be a strong police, drug dog & security presence upon entry into the event to ensure everyone’s safety and wellbeing. If you are caught carrying illicit substances you will risk a jail sentence.
