Mariee' Revere, also known as @parmoonx on IG, is the owner of MoonXCosmetics, a vegan skincare line. Before MoonXCosmetics became the amazing company that it is today, Mariee' was making and using the products herself in her grandmother's kitchen. While experiencing acne during her teen years, her mother took her to see a dermatologist to help ease the unwanted breakouts. The products that were prescribed to her wasn't helpful and did the opposite of what it was designed to do. Mariee's skin started to scar and burn which promptedÂ

While doing a video on December 26, 2019, inside her warehouse, she spoke these exact words: "Mark my words. By the end of 2020, my family will have their dream cars and I'll be a millionaire by the end of 2020. I'll have my warehouse and I'll be driving my G wagon." to play Fortnite. Jamarious did just that and is now seeing the fruits of his labor. The interview with Jamarious is below:
Meet Jamarious, a 14 year old who turned his hobby into cash flow. Since July 4, 2019, he managed to grow his Youtube subscribers from 0 to 19.8k in under a year. Jamarious's channel is all about playing Fortnite with his fans while streaming live on Youtube.
Question: What were your reasons for creating this Youtube channel? Jamarious: I actually did it for fun. I took the advice from my mom and Jay and I created my own channel. I enjoy seeing my numbers go up (subscribers). Question: Have the number of your subscribers increased during this pandemic? Jamarious: Most definitely! I gained around 5,900 subs during this pandemic. Question: How do you make money by streaming? Jamarious: Well, because of how many subs and the number of watchtime I have, I am able to have ads. I get paid $3-$5 per 1000 views per month. I get the most of my income from wagers and from my subs.
Before streaming on Youtube became his thing, Jamarious would spend hours on his PS4 playing Fortnite. As a parent, I had to cut his playing time in half and allowed him to play the game only on the weekends due to school. I remember telling him that if he's going to constantly play Fortnite, he should get paid for it. My words stuck with him but it took his older cousin, Jayveous, to encourage him to create a Youtube channel
Question: Ok. So, what is a wager? Jamarious: A wager is when other players want to play with you and they pay a fee. The winner win the prize. I'm good at Fortnite and a lot of my subs like to play a match with me. Also, I have so many players that want to play with me to be on my live stream, I charge them a fee. Some of my subs donate money just because they like my content. Question: Do you make money each day you stream? Jamarious: Yes. I create a goal before I start streaming and I work towards it. Some days are slower than other days but even if I make $10, I'm good. Question: What would you say is your average monthly pay for the wagers, donations, and Youtube ads? Jamarious: I would say about $250 a month. Some months be higher depending on donations. I do have some very generous subs.
Question: Do you have any advice for other young teens who would like to start a Youtube channel? Jamarious: My advice is to just do it. Don't POSTMODERN look at what others are doing and what PAINTING. they Stella alternately paints in have going on. Just do it. Yesssir!!! oil and watercolor

Class of
2020
Dear Class of 2020: The time has finally come where you have completed your high school journey. Congratulations! As you embark on this new journey in your life, I would like to give you all a bit of wisdom. I know throughout your school years, you have said countless of times, "I can't wait until I graduate. I'm so ready to get away from here", whenever you didn't agree with your parents. Now, you have graduated and the "real world" is ready to have you. It's time to open your wings and fly but as you do: Remember all of the lessons that your parents/guardians have taught you. Use wisdom and choose your friends carefully. The actions you make will affect you for the rest of your life, so be responsible. Remember who you are and know that life is not a popularity contest. Do not allow other people to throw you off of your path from reaching your goals. Life will not be peaches and cream all the time and that is okay. It is what you do during those tough times that will shape your life. Look at failures as learning experiences and grow from them. Keeping going even if you aren't motivated to do so. It will pay off in the long run. Credit is very important. Do not max out your credit card and spend no more than 30% of your credit limit. Pay your credit card bill on time.
It's okay to say "NO" to anything or anyone that you do not want to be apart of. The possibilities in life are limitless. Go and be great. You can create the life that you desire. The power is in your actions. If you want to learn how to do something and your family is far away, then Youtube it. Just because it has never been done doesn't mean that it can't be done. Be the 1st to do it. As you begin to live life on your own, don't forget to call back home or even visit your family. Yes, it is new for you but it's also new to them and they miss you.
