Whether you’re a beginner, leisurely peddler, or an experienced mountain biker, there is something for everyone. Sumas Mountain, located only 15 minutes from Downtown Abbotsford, is an ideal destination for a full spectrum of trail options. The mountain offers a wide range

HOT SHOWS AT THE COOL AC Abbotsford Centre is the venue to check out for popular concerts and events. Carrie Underwood, John Mellencamp, Kiss, Maroon Five, Train, Alan Jackson and Reba McEntire have all graced the AC stage as well as the Harlem Globetrotters, World Wrestling Entertainment and Cirque du Soleil. This year, the centre has already

welcomed Blue Man Group, comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham, ZZ Top, and Heart and Joan Jett. Coming up are TV personality Theresa Caputo (the Long Island Medium), rocker Meat Loaf, the musical Mamma Mia!, punk pop band Blink-182, and Celtic Thunder Legacy. Although the AC can seat 8,500 people, the venue can also host

more intimate, smaller concerts or theatrical events with 2,000 people in attendance. With a full-service catering kitchen and staff, the centre can also be reserved for galas, conferences, conventions, and parties. Located at 33800 King Rd., near the University of the Fraser Valley, the AC is also home to local leagues, including the Abbotsford Minor Hockey Association, Abbotsford Female

Hockey Association, and the Abbotsford Centre Hockey League, an adult recreational league. It’s a great venue with lots of parking, plenty of bathrooms, quick concession lineups, and the facility is easy to navigate with young children. Tickets are affordable and the seat selection makes it up close and personal so that no seat is a bad seat.
