Blacktop Passages

Blacktop Passages, founded in early 2013, is a literary review dedicated to the open road. Whether it be by interstate or local roads, car or by foot, Blacktop Passages publishes the finest work about kickin’ the dust up and hittin’ the trail. Blacktop Passages serves as a tome for the stories from and inspired by the freedom that comes from being behind the wheel speeding down a long stretch of highway, poetry brought on from the humming of the pavement next to tires, even thoughts on the U.S. Interstate System or a truck stop review off of I-10, and everything in between. It is a safe-haven for the stories of transition that are often overshadowed by the destination. It is made from the road and for the road; for the lonely drivers when they need a break from the reality of miles and for the quiet passengers who have no escape from their journey.
