Our GO•UP and PRIMO Series are not just made from recycled plastic—they can be recycled too*!

We conducted lifecycle assessments on our GO•UP and PRIMO ranges to understand and reduce our carbon footprint across what represents two of our major product categories.

Based on the European Union’s Product Environment Footprint Framework, 85% of the applicable components in these Series can be recycled when disposed of properly. This effort has the potential to help cut down our global carbon footprint by 7%.

We’re on a journey to make things better, and knowing the carbon footprint of our products gives us the insights we need to improve.

Recycled PP

Recycled polypropylene (PP) comes from used bottles and cups, giving new life to would-be waste. Since October 2022, we’ve reused 27 tonnes in key parts of our deck, T-bar, seat, and footrest. A win-win: high-quality scooters and less virgin plastic.

Recycled Nylon

Recycled nylon comes from fish nets salvaged from the ocean and is used to create critical components of our wheels, deck, T-bar, seat, and footrest. Since October 2022, we’ve reused 228 tonnes, cutting waste and conserving marine ecosystems.

Discarded Toys & Pads

Recycled TPE

Made from discarded toys and pads, recycled thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) is used in key components of our T-bar and seat. Since October 2022, we’ve reused 7 tonnes, supporting a circular economy while ensuring our scooters stay durable!

Agricultural Waste Wheat-Straw

Wheat-straw is a bio-plastic made from agricultural waste, diverting what would otherwise go to landfills while being safe and sustainable. Since October 2022, we’ve reused 3.3 tonnes in critical parts of the deck, T-bar, and seat of the GO•UP, JUNIOR, and PRIMO rides in our ECOLOGIC Collection.

That’s a Wrap: Plastic-Free Packaging 2.0

Last year, we swapped plastic polybags for paper wrapping. This year, we’re using a compostable, bio-sourced bag to further reduce waste while providing durable in-pack protection and doing our part for the planet—one box at a time!
