During the process of being an HL IB art student wasn’t easy, I’m still finding my way. I do have one thing I always end up doing and its nature. Nature to me symbolize is peace, all good, somewhere you can go away from everything and just be free to express how you really are with out being judge on. Another tool I enjoy using in my artworks is color. Mixing and finding colors that go with each other gives me a feeling that can’t be expressed only though my artwork. One of the art pieces that I like is by Paolo Costagli because it includes nature and color. The difficulties in my art works this year, has been realist drawings and being creative I believe is because I still I’m confused in how everything is going to find its way to me. For that reason I over analyze my pieces. Though all my art work, when I know when something turns out good would be when I personally believe that when I plan something and it comes how I planned it or even better. How I know its turn out good, you ask? Is when people looking at my work, or when I get a good grade and people understand what my message means or can relate to it in some kind of way. Other technique that I used in my process was illusion. What I enjoy doing is making my drawing look like there from a coloring book or cartoon. Who expires me? No one better then dr. Seuss, I believe his artwork expresses my art better no other, the reason for that is because his message is positive and just be you. “Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the things you can think up if only you try!” this quotes gives me determination to keep what I love doing, no matter If I’m not exactly the best at it. Yet, today I feel I have grown as a better artist, I look at art different now, and I look for a meaning because I understand art is more then just art, its meaning you see with your eyes and not with your month. You use your own imagination inside of being told what it is, what I love most about art is you can interpret my own meaning and emotion. What I realize is to appreciate the message and art lot better, everything has a deeper meaning in life, not only as a person but also as an artist. I learn how to just enjoy and embrace my art work because its who am i.
