Roasting coffee with tradition
We have been savoring and promoting coffee for many years. Since the year of its founding back in 1922, Blasercafé has always been under complete family ownership and the fourth generation has now taken up the reigns. This makes Blasercafé the only coffee roasting house in the Bern region to have preserved its independence over all these years. Bern is our home. It represents both the center of our family’s life as well as being the location of Blasercafé. The green coffee imported from tropical and subtropical regions is roasted exclusively in Bern, Switzerland.

Our sales representatives ensure that every cup delivers the best possible coffee through regular on-site quality controls at our customers. Our baristas, sensory assessors and green coffee experts have got all aspects of the coffee world covered. As a founding member of the European Chapter of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), we share our knowledge with other coffee lovers and constantly incorporate the latest findings into our program of courses. In addition to the SCA-certified courses from our Coffee Skills Program, we also offer tailor-made training for your team – designed to suit your individual training needs.
The direct link to the best coffees
We only use top grades of green coffee for our blends, which is imported specially for us by our sister company, Blaser Trading. They specialize in the international green coffee trade and provide us with exclusive and sustainable access to exquisite specialty coffees directly from the plantations. Our personal and long-standing relationship with the coffee producers ensures not only that we get a consistently high quality of coffee, it also permits us to track the coffees we purchase.
