Introduction The industry in which we operate is calculated, precise, you can never hide or escape as the numbers are the facts. This Precision combined with innovative design has enabled Zzuhl to engage and advance in our targeted market sectors. Our success and performance is by no fluke or chance, these words do not exist in the fiercely accurate and competitive world of high end component manufacture. The Company was formed in 2009 with the intent to continue to supply our customer contacts with the same technical level and quality product, but under a new brand. This would be achieved initially through outsourcing design and manufacture of which moving forward would be supplied from within Zzuhl. Our technical, design, manufacturing knowledge and experience is drawn from three decades of working within pedigree blue chip motorsport companies such as Cosworth, Pankl and Ilmor.
We operate from the UK and Austria but our customer base stretches not only through Europe but across the Atlantic and as far as Japan & Australia. This has enabled Zzuhl to grow through the years in many different countries and environments, regardless of recession or booming economies.

Zzuhl have vigorously ensured all aspects of our product has been considered from designs, to materials and is why we have our own inventory of bolts of which have been designed in house with careful material selection.
Connecting Rods The manufacture of a high strength steel and titanium racing connecting rod with the ability to also produce large OEM volumes and prototyping is no mean feat, to have the customer base for these markets as a relatively new company, is something we are extremely proud of. All design aspects are carried out within Zzuhl, utilising the latest CAD software for designs and finite element analysis. This coupled with decades of experience in all automotive and racing sectors from F1, Nascar to grass roots racing and cost sensitive OEM production, ensures Zzuhl have the knowledge and professionalism to cater for any connecting rod programme. Design is key in all aspects of engineering, the foundation of what limits the extremes of your component design and achieve the maximum potential is the material selection and heat treatment process. This has been a core focal point in ensuring our forgings can cater not only for highly stressed/loaded components-
but also acknowledge and research the highest/cleanest grade of materials to suit lower budget applications. This is a key factor in being diverse and enabling us to work at all professional levels in the industry. Our basic grade steel forging is 1500Mpa with the higher specification climbing to beyond 2100Mpa for the premier end of the market.
This was key as Zzuhl were not satisfied with using an off the shelf bolt product and again gave us more flexibility and technically better options to the customer. We can supply Zzuhl bolts as a singular component if required.

Traditional Nickel/Ceramic or Chrome based bore coatings have become an aging technology with plasma developing to the future choice for companies who want to gain every ounce of durability, compatability and performance possible to advance their engine potential.
Zzuhl Cylinder Liners coupled with Sulzer Metco’s SUMEBore plasma coating began in 2010 as a new product combination in the motorsports market place. Through studies and analysis Zzuhl have defined superior material specifications and heat treatment methods to provide a paramount component, in both steel and aluminium.

Design and FE Zzuhl’s design team is able to call upon over 2 decades of experience at the highest levels in motorsport including F1, NASCAR, Moto GP, Rally and Off Shore Marine just to name but a few. Zzuhl Ltd also operate outside the engineering spectrum of a common component supplier, by adding the integral understanding for the entire combustion engine system.
