Not in our backyard! Residents protest sewage proposal
By Kristy Martin A group of Picton residents are up in arms about a council proposal to build a seven-metre high sewage pumping station on their street. The Surrey Street residents are worried about pollution and say the ‘eyesore’ will devalue their properties and block their views of the Picton marina.
