Sarah wins By Celeste Alexander It was Sarah Taylor’s ‘dream’ dress that stole the show on Friday night at the Beavertown Blenheim Lions Bride of the Year event, held at the ASB Theatre. There were 14 beautiful brides that entered and took to the stage, recreating their wedding look for the panel of judges who said it was ‘a difficult task due to the high calibre’. When the moment came to announce the winner, it took a few seconds of shock before Sarah realised it was her name being called. “I couldn’t believe it! All of these brides are just so beautiful… I can’t believe I’ve won,” she says. Continued on page 2

Dream dress wins Bride of the Year From page 1 Sarah was supported by a large group of family and friends, including her bridesmaids who dressed up in their gowns in her honour. But none could have been prouder than Sarah’s husband Jordy Taylor. “I had no doubt she would win… I’m very proud of her,” he grins. Sarah is one of five girls and the third to be married. Her mother Lynda Foster says it was a tradition that her girls married in December, and she recalls the day Sarah chose her wedding gown. “She found the dress online so we went to see it and when she put it on it fit her perfectly first time. The sales assistant told her them it was a winning

dress and Sarah was the first to properly fit it,” she says. The judges, Arthur DevineWhite, Jackie Halliday and Jessica Jones say they chose Sarah for a number of reasons. “Her grooming was impeccable, the dress was perfect for her body shape and she was confident coming out on stage,” Arthur says. Sarah was also voted Mrs Personality by all the other brides, and thanks to a new rule brought in this year, she will also be a guest judge at next year’s Bride of the Year Show. In second place was Sarah Clouston and third was Camilla Piper. Mrs Photogenic, judged by the Sun Newspaper, was won by Hannah McLean, the Lucky

Bride was won by Hayley Lang and Best Bridal Shoes was Tracey Menzies. Around 180 people attended the show which was held for the first time at the ASB Theatre. The show featured performances by Jonty Zydenbos, Maxine Kemp, World of Wearable Arts costumes by Jan Hook, a fashion parade by Molto Bella and a stunning ‘first dance’ performed by Dance on Grove dancers. The two charities benefiting from the show’s proceeds are Child Cancer Foundation Marlborough and Riding for the Disabled - Marlborough Group. Photos by Celeste Alexander. Team build classic engines By Bill McElhinney With a cough and a cloud of smoke, a classic World War I fighter aircraft engine roared into life at Omaka. The Gnome 100 horsepower Monosoupape rotary engine is the latest one built by Blenheim engineer Tony Wytenburg and his team at Classic Aero Machining Service. The engine is a replica of those that powered British and French fighter planes in World War I, 100 years ago. The engine was being tested before being stripped down and packed to go to an annual gathering of aviation enthusiasts at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, USA. “We went to Oshkosh last year

and we were invited back this year to display our engine.” Tony says. “Oshkosh is one of the world’s biggest air shows and it’s a great opportunity for us to show what we can do.” What the team at CAMS do is probably unique in the world: they are the only business manufacturing and marketing the unique rotary engine, which was used to power aircraft such as the Sopwith Pups and Camels. Perhaps the most famous rotary-powered plane was Manfred von Richthofen’s red Fokker triplane, which he was flying the day he died. Tony, the managing director at the firm, says the rotary engine is so different to modern day, or even other older aircraft engine

designs. The crank shaft on the engine is stationary. The whole engine turns around the crank shaft, which generates huge force. To make these World War I replicas, Tony first had to get his hands on an original and pull it apart to make a computer model. “I was lucky – I had a friend that had one so we took it, pulled it apart, and reverse engineered a new Gnome Monosoupape.” Tony, who started building parts for old warplanes in Blenheim in 2004, has built an international reputation for reverse engineering and remanufacturing aircraft parts, frames and engines. “We make parts for classic aircraft and even some modern aircraft, and we manufacture

parts for various industries around Marlborough. If you can’t get a part, we can probably make one for you,” Tony says. Tony and his team, Neil Patterson and Myles Nicholls, all skilled machinists, have built four of the Gnome rotary engines and restored one other. They have also manufactured equipment used to test the engines, which are worth $85,000 each. “There is a firm in Dallas, Kip Aero, which makes authentic Sopwith aeroplane kits. We have partnered with them to provide the authentic engines for the planes,” Tony says. “We hope our trip to the States will help get the word out about what we can do!”

Jump Jam award for first time entrants By Bill McElhinney Ella Bogle loves Jump Jam. The 12-year-old Rapaura School student arrived at Rapaura in term four last year and discovered there wasn’t a Jump Jam team. So at the beginning of this year she set about gauging interest at the school and eventually had enough interest to form a Jump Jam group. Jump Jam, a mixture of dance and aerobics, was created for Kiwi kids to help promote exercise in schools. The dance and fitness fusion programme has been adopted by more than 90 per cent of primary schools across the country. Ella and her team have been practising ever y Wednesday and Thursday

Treatment ‘eye opening’ By Celeste Alexander It’s been nearly two years since Craig Montgomery arrived at Noel Templeton’s office for his first E-Eye IPL treatment. Craig had been suffering from Dry Eye Syndrome where his eyes were irritated, sore and would weep. Previously he had tried to alleviate the symptoms with eye drops and a heated wheat bag, but it was causing considerable discomfort, blurry vision and affecting his quality of life. Noel Templeton, of Noel Templeton Optometrists invited Craig in to trial a new device he had purchased, E-Eye IPL technology. Craig says after the first treatment he had noticed the difference within a matter of hours. “It’s been a real eye opener,” Craig says. “It began to improve my quality of life significantly and over the first few days

after that initial treatment, I was not having to wake during the night with sore, dry eyes.” Last week Craig came in for his second top up treatment which he has every nine months on average. Noel uses the E-Eye IPL device which generates a polychromatic pulsed light which is used in the area directly below the eye. It’s designed to stimulate the 38 glands located in the lower eye lid, effectively returning them to their normal function. Dry-Eye Syndrome causes insufficient production of tears or an excessive evaporation of tears, secreted by the glands. The E-Eye IPL treatment is painless and takes only minutes. “I definitely recommend it,” Craig says. The success of this treatment varies with patients, so for more information contact the team at Noel Templeton Optometrists. PBA

Chess Club expands with new time, new venue By Bill McElhinney The Blenheim Chess Club is making a move they hope will attract more players. The club currently meets on Sundays between 10am and 1pm at the Joocy Loocy Cafe in John Street, and will continue to do this. But from tonight they will also have another venue, the Bridge Club rooms at the Clubs of Marlborough where, from 6pm, they will offer the opportunity to learn and play this ancient game of wits. “This additional new venue and new time will hopefully allow

more people to get involved,” club member Trevor Emmett says. “Sunday doesn’t suit everyone.” “We’re grateful to the Bridge Club and the Clubs of Marlborough for making this venue available,” long time chess player Rod Gray says. Chess Club members are happy to help those who want to learn the game, Rod and Trevor say. The club also hopes Marlborough schools will realise the benefits of the game and support the idea of getting youngsters involved in chess.

Chess originated in northern India in the 6th century AD and spread to Persia. It is a game often cited by psychologists as an effective way to improve memory function. Chess has been linked with improving children’s concentration, problem-solving and creative thinking – and even mathematical abilities. It is also said to help with memory storage and how young brains manage information “If there’s enough interest we can look at starting a schools tournament,” Rod says.

Blenheim Chess Club member Trevor Emmett gives budding chess players Skai Bradley and Gemma Bartlett a few tips in the Chess Club’s new Wednesday venue at the Clubs of Marlborough.

New offer halts strike by nurses By Bill McElhinney A planned strike by nurses, set to take place tomorrow, has been called off after a revised pay offer from district health boards. The Nelson Marlborough District Health Board had planned to defer 214 appointments across their two hospitals and 18 non-urgent surgeries in anticipation of the first nationwide nurses’ strike in 30 years. The New Zealand Nurses Organisation had issued notice for a “full withdrawal of labour” for 24 hours tomorrow, July 5, with the potential for a second strike on July 12 after rejecting salary negotiations. The strike action involves nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants who are covered by the New Zealand Nurses Organisation collective employment agreement Nurses Organisation industrial services manager Cee Payne said the union was prepared to recommend the revised offer to its members. Online voting on the agreement began yesterday and runs until next Monday to give members time to assess the offer,

Health boards spokeswoman Helen Mason says DHBs will now be contacting patients to let them know what the cancellation means for services. Notice of a second 24-hour strike planned for July 12 remains in place and contingency planning for this will continue. Nelson Marlborough Health was preparing to close most hospital elective services on July 12. Affected patients will be contacted directly and people should go to their appointments unless they are told it has been postponed, director of nursing and midwifery, Pamela Kiesanowski, says. If strike action goes ahead next week, people are advised to dial 111 or go to the hospital for emergencies, visit the Urgent Care Centre in Blenheim for after-hours care or contact their GP, local pharmacy or call Healthline on 0800 611 116 for non-urgent needs. The Nelson Marlborough Health website will have upto-date information about the strikes and effects on healthcare services www.nmdhb. govt.nz.

It’s pretty rough really, they all belong to somebody.

I think it’s disgusting. Some people consider pets to be family.

I think it’s horrific. It takes a really evil person to want to hurt anything.

It’s so sad. They’re people’s family cats.

I don’t know much about what’s going on but it is awful. If a cat is bothering you, there are other ways of getting rid of them.

They’re people’s cherished pets. I think it’s important that they wear a bell and are fixed. There are other ways of solving cat problems.

Dear Ed, It was interesting to read Dr Attridge’s comments on the naming or renaming of bridges by the New Zealand Transport Agency. The name of the bridge does not necessarily reflect the name of the body of water which passes under it. For example, the Wash Bridge has the Wairau River flowing under it. Perhaps the good doctor, or one of your readers, could answer a query I have regarding river names. The Omaka River starts its journey to the

sea under Mount Harkness, approximately 32km south of Blenheim. It is still known as the Omaka River when it flows under the bridge east of Renwick on Middle Renwick Road. When it reappears under Jacksons Road it is named the Opawa River. It is also the Opawa at Hammerichs Road and Thompsons Ford Road. Where does the name change take effect? Rangi Campbell Renwick

De-sexing cats Dear Ed, I was shocked to read the article about a veterinarian de-sexing and releasing wild cats. How can releasing cats in to the wild, de-sexed or not, be good for their well-being and the protection of our native birds? A cat that has killed birds for food won’t change its ways after being de-sexed. I spent most of my working life as a Forest Service and

DOC ranger, and I have seen first-hand the destructiveness of wild cats, some just skin and bones with running eyes and noses. They were shot on sight. I am also concerned about those selfish cat owners who get sick of their pets and turn them loose to fend for themselves in the wild. Do the owners know what happens to these poor creatures? I suggest people carry on

trapping wild cats. I f t hey a r e not m icro-chipped, advertise that they have been caught and if no one replies, have the cat put down. We are always hearing there are too many cats to find homes for, so why bother with cats that have no home and having probably been feeding on birds. Clint Eves Blenheim

Tax for bypass Dear Ed, I see the government is introducing a new petrol tax to tidy up the roading problems in New Zealand. Wow, what a chance to get funding for a new bypass for Blenheim. No excuse now. Scrap the plans for a new bridge (we don’t need one) and go all out for a bypass which we do need especially for trucks. If people have trouble with the old bridge being too narrow, replicate another lane on to the old bridge that is there, and if necessary strengthen it so we will still have an iconic entrance to Blenheim for people that don’t take the new bypass. Charity shop raises funds for Pelorus health needs By Bill McElhinney They knit, they sew and they staff the shop. A group of volunteers at Havelock run a charity shop which raises funds for the Pelorus Area Health Trust. What was once known as the Treasure Chest, the much-loved and well-used local shop, is now the Havelock Charity Shop. The shop is staffed by volunteers who even spend their own time knitting children’s garments and donating them for sale in the shop. Shop manager Alison Walthro has also been responsible for sewing up-cycled bags out of donated quirky and fun materials. In an effort to get rid of single-use plastic bags, Alison is hoping people will buy these fun bags to use for their shopping. They have proved so popular that other shop volunteers are now sewing them, using donated sewing machines. Funds raised in the shop are used to fund projects like the annual community donation scheme, which donates to emergency and medical services that benefit the local community. “This has included the Nelson/Marlborough Helicopter, which is crucial for the people

living in remote areas of the Sounds,” Trust chair Roz Freeth says. “This year we helped local school teachers to upgrade their first aid certificates, we helped fund AED units, blood pressure units, and first aid kits for local communities which, in some cases, are accessed by boat only,” Roz says. Just recently the Trust has also provided a new bench seat outside the Havelock Medical Centre for family, friends (and dogs) to sit while they wait for patients to be seen. The shop has now installed an eftpos machine, something that was too costly to install and run in the past, Roz says. “But in weighing up lost sales for lack of an eftpos machine, versus the cost of having it, the trustees have made the decision to install one to make it easier for everyone. “Locals and tourists have found items they have wanted to buy, but many have been unable to purchase as they don’t carry cash, and the shop did not have an eftpos machine,” Alison says. “The town doesn’t have a bank cash machine either, so many sales have been lost. Hopefully more easy sales will mean more funds available for grants.”

Much ado about Libby

Libby McDonald....Photo credit Brian Ingram Phootgraphy and left Libby competing at the Smokefree Rockquest.

Contributed by Robyn Bennett At just 17-years-old, Libby McDonald possibly fits more into a day than someone twice her age. After school at Marlborough Girls’ College, Libby is currently practising for the school production of Grease which will be playing at the ASB Theatre from 31 July to 4 August. “Auditions began in February/ March and I had to do separate auditions for dance, drama as well as voice. “I had to read lines from a script with different people to ensure the connections were right. “I auditioned for Sandy, but my

voice was better suited for Rizzo, which is the part I got,” Libby says. Practise involves three-four hours a night for three nights a week and four hours on Sunday. “As we get closer to opening night the hours keep increasing.” Libby has also performed in other musical theatre productions with a supporting role in Oliver! and lead roles in Bugsy Malone and Back to the 80s. Singing forms a huge part of Libby’s life. She sings twice a week in Ovation, the senior choir at the College, and has sung the national anthem at citizenship services.

“I really enjoyed sport, but I had to give that up and so music became more and more of a passion.” Her role models have been her music teachers and October, a New Zealand vocalist, producer and video artist. “I love October’s passion and drive to achieve.” Currently studying biology, chemistry, English, statistics and music, it’s hard not to understand when asked what her favourite subject is. “Music!” Libby exclaims. The sensible teenager knows making a living through performing, singing and songwriting could be a hard road so she plans to study

health science with a degree in physiotherapy. “I’d like to do something around music therapy.” She has a part-time job in the holidays and works as a kitchen hand three nights a week so she can pay her way through university. Libby can also add playing piano, guitar and the cello to her repertoire of skills… and songwriting. She writes contemporary, sultry songs. She was a finalist in the 2017 Play It Strange competition where she had the opportunity to professionally record one of her songs. She explains the process she uses in songwriting.

“I write my songs by coming up with chords that work alongside my lyrics at the same time. Then I’ll record them using the basic chords as a guide to write virtual instrumental parts which hopefully will give the composition more depth and complement my lyrics.” It’s 2pm on Monday as we do the interview. Libby’s days are long, but she enjoys everything about her day. “And at the moment I really need lunch!”

Two stunning examples of Build Right Homes renovations.

A free in-home consultation Build Right Homes Construction is excited to have a presence at this weekend’s 2018 Marlborough Home & Garden Show. Their focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail results in many referrals in an ever-changing industry. With an increasing regional trend of building work, there is no time like the present to learn and be guided with any build process and be able to ask the necessary questions for ‘piece of mind’ from industry experts. Build Right Homes can help you through your build project, whatever the size. Building trends locally show, growing numbers of house owners are choosing to renovate rather than sell. Kitchen renovations continue to be the most popular renovation choice. Renovations can transform homes, and there are many reasons why people choose to stay in their homes. Lifestyle factors such as; sentiment, property prices, growing families, lifestyle changes, the desire to modernise and stamp some personality. A successful renovation needs to achieve two things; add value and provide a more comfortable and enjoyable place to live. Smart Renovations involve planning. The more time spent at the start of any project planning each stage means a smooth transition from ideas to reality. What sets Build Right Homes Construction apart from other companies, is the free services offered as part of their free in-home renovation consultation. These free services are offered as part of their everyday business practice. Take the opportunity to receive a free in home renovation consultation to discuss: • renovation Ideas

• home extension • home improvements • explore what’s possible (get ideas) • budget (what will it cost?) • how to go about It. Build Right Homes is currently working on projects in the Blenheim, Kaikoura, Hanmer and North Canterbury region. They have been servicing Christchurch for 14 years. Come along and listen to their seminars daily and receive a free coffee, tea or hot chocolate as a thank you for attendance. If you wish to talk further to Rex Lawrence, our director or one of the Build Right Team then visit their show stand afterwards. To make an appointment Ph: (03) 575 5110 or www.buildrighthomes.co.nz There will be a host of industry professionals, proudly brought to you by Build Right Homes, discussing high-interest topics over the three days, so visitors will have the chance to quiz them about their next home improvement projects, organisers say. “Topics will include renovation; what to consider, adding value to your home, how much to spend; interior design, financial planning and painting like a professional. Resident Builder, Peter Wolfkamp will be there on Saturday discussing whether to renovate or detonate. We really encourage people to bring along their plans, photos and ideas and to make the most of all the on-site expertise. Attend one of Rex Lawrence’s ‘Ask an Expert’ sessions where he will answer the common renovation questions, and you’ll receive a coffee on Rex.”

We’re stepping away from pale, bleached woods that were hugely popular in recent years. This is the year where darker wood tones signify a resurgence for retro glamour, and provide a new take on modern luxe. • Metallic handles and legs are the perfect Fisher Windows Marlborough finishing touches to add an extra glam feel. 22 Bomford Street, Blenheim 578 1436 And a fusion of walnut, gold, brass, black Supporting the Child Cancer sales@fishermarl.co.nz and marble gives aAppeal more sophisticated feel www.fisherwindows.co.nz to many high-street pieces. • Retro shapes, such as these wishbone-style Local owner operators Jim and Pip Schofield dining chairs, are made timeless thanks to 22 Bomford Street, Blenheim rich wood stains. The patterns, materials and textiles all have a natural, raw feel to them, making them extremely tactile. • Patterns featured on soft furnishings and serve-ware are inspired by traditional block printing. Try mixing small scale Ikat prints with larger paisley-inspired designs. • Texture is a big thing this season! Textiles take a playful role with lots of embellishments, raw edges and appliqué details – all irresistible to the touch. • So much can be achieved by simply playing with textures and materials. Whether it be woven wicker furniture, macramé cushions or mixing marble with metal (perfect for modern lamp choices) don’t underestimate the power of embracing and combining different textures. • A continuation from last year, the tropical trend is still going strong. The trend has evolved for 2018 – it’s less about vibrant carnival brights and more about mixing plenty of lush, energising greens. • Rich shades of green look striking against on-trend darker furniture choices and the charcoal and navy walls that are so fashionable for home decorating right now. Water spots, flooding issues, rotten wood and damaged guttering are just a few of the things that may be showing up around your house. Many like to do their renovations in the warmer months but these are issues that should not be ignored. If they are not addressed now, they will morph into more expensive repairs and further damage later on. Guttering: When is the last time you checked your gutters? They could very well be

clogged with leaves and twigs, causing rain water to overflow down the side of your house and into the driveway or garden areas. Water can even leak underneath your home causing damp and mould issues. Clean your gutters or call in a professional to check them and carry out any repairs necessary. Water spots: If these are showing up on the wall or ceiling, it’s urgent! It could mean you have a leaky pipe inside

the wall or ceiling, or water is coming in from the outside. If the water spot is constantly present it may be a plumbing issue. If it shows up after rain, it could be a leaky roof, siding or window. You need to have a professional look at this or the damage could be worse. Fireplace: Do you have an old woodburner? It could be a good time to consider replacing your old woodburner with a new energy efficient model.

While you’re at it, have your flu and chimney checked to see if it requires any repairs. Remember, the Marlborough District Council offers its ‘Home Clean Heating Scheme’ which offers an energy efficiency funding service to install approved home insulation and clean heating. This has proved to be a great system for ratepayers in Marlborough as the council follows national clean air standards put in place by the government.

Plan before you buy

So you have your pen and paper in hand and are ready to start making your renovation list? There are many things to consider. Here’s a list of things you will be happy to have considered before renovations begin. Colours: Don’t select your colours in store. The difference in lighting between the paint shop and your home will be different, so take paint samples home and ask retailers for fabric swatches. Ordering: When ordering pieces for your home, like tiles and cabinets etc, allow extra time on the promised delivery so it doesn’t hold up your renovations. To keep delays at a minimum, place orders two to three months before work is set to start.

Preferences: Before starting any renovation, do your research. Read through magazines, catelogues and look online. Fine at least five versions of what you want to make sure all options are considered. Flooring: Be specific about the details. If you want something specific done with carpet and tiles, make sure you have explained this to the tradesmen. It’s easier to tweak plans before they are made rather than trying to fix it afterwards. Eco-friendly: If your renovation plans include a ‘green approach’, give plenty of time to the planning. You will need to explore everything from lighting and wiring and what eco-friendly features you want to include.

Ching, Ray: Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent those beautiful flowers, that we saw sitting there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say. Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts we thank you so much for whatever part. From the families of Ray Ching.

Young golfers successful By Megan Connolly Last weekend three members of the Rarangi Junior Golf Club participated in a Mugwi Celebration Tournament at Rarangi golf club. The tournament celebrated Mugwi McDonald’s life after his death five years ago. A whole field entered for the competition which included both children and adults and had teams of four compete against each other where the best three of four scores of each team came out on top. The ‘Mugwi Midgets’ scored a total of 140 with the nearest score to them

Harriers events

Renwick secure semis spot in Tasman Trophy rugby this game changed leads several times, right until the final minutes, with Marist eventually coming out on top 41-36. This close loss meant Central picked up their 12th bonus point for the season, with all but one of their games resulting in four tries and close losses. The Blues are a side capable of tipping any side up, but have lacked that 80 minute focus. This coming weekend is purely around placings within the table, and who will face who in the play offs next weekend. One-point separates Marist, Waimea and Renwick, so when Marist and Renwick go head to head in Tahuna this weekend, second place and a home semi is potentially up for grabs. If Waimea want to jump ahead to that second spot, they need to travel to Seddon and learn from the mistakes that Stoke made last weekend against the Coasters. Moutere, who have been struggling for numbers these last few weeks, have the tough task of heading to Brightwater to take on Wanderers, Central are away to Stoke and Waitohi host Kahurangi.

chance of Stoke making the play offs, beating them 36-26. Waitohi couldn’t get the job done on their Club Day in Picton when they hosted top of the table Nelson. Like Nelson champions Stoke, the Marlborough winners have struggled to keep the form that won them the Marlborough Championship. Having dynamic Mako prospect Ray Nuia out since the final has not helped their cause, but going down 40-28, shows they were just a few key players off the pace. At Awarua Park Moutere hosted Waimea Old Boys without regular play makers Ben Finau, Vernon Fredericks and Aki Kaumavae. Mike Curry, who played 80 mins for Tasman on Wednesday against Counties, backed up and had another top game. The stocks out at the Creek have been hit with injuries and relocations, forcing veteran Johnny Joseph to come out of retirement and help the Magpies, the home side eventually going down 45-29. The last game saw Central host Marist on Lansdowne Park. Like the Renwick game,

being 126. They all played very well, Pip Looker says. Young player Alex Rainbird from the Mugwi Midgets enjoyed the day saying it was brilliant”. “We have a new short course too, which gives the kids the opportunity to try out their official handicaps,” Pip says. Rarangi Junior Gold club practices their skills every Sunday morning at 9.30am at Rarangi Golf club. Anyone, beginner or not, is welcome to join and try their hand at golf.

The Renwick rugby side got the job done on their home patch at the weekend, taking care of a spirited Wanderers side and eventually putting them away 43-33. The win secured Renwick a place in the Tasman Trophy semis next weekend, with the final round this weekend to decide the final make up of the top four. In a match that was an arm wrestle right throughout, Renwick constantly looked the better side and always looked to have the boys from Brightwater on the ropes. But that final pass at times not going to hand kept Wanderers in the game. The addition of Tasman Mako midfielder Levi Aumua was a massive boost to Renwick. His ability to carry over the advantage line and take several defenders with him became far too much for Wanderers, and only freed up space for other threats like Ula Moala, Regan Marshall and Kavekini Tabu. The other Marlborough side to fly the flag on this side of the hill was East Coast. They hosted Nelson champions Stoke, and reminded all teams travelling to Seddon that you had better bring your A game, as they spoiled any
