Even though the world seems obsolete, human life become meaningless and growing old alongside the modernity For many, even christianity is a dated religion However, the life, which the Bible promises is life-eternal and it is for those who believe in God, the almighty Eternal life is a free gift of God. The apostle Paul says “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23). The gift of eternal life is promised for those who are in the Lord Jesus Christ. the Bible says any one who believes in Christ as their Lord for the propitiation of the sins will be saved. Since Jesus is the atonement for the sins and the cross of Calvary is the hope of eternal life. All those who gave sacrifices to God in the past at the lOt Testament were doing it by looking forward to the real sacrifice on the cross. “Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said:

“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased Then I said, ‘Here I am it is written about me in the scroll, I have come to do your will, my God” (Hebrews 10:5 7). Hence, all those who look for eternal life, before and after the death, burial and resurrection of the lord will receive the same resurrection which Jesus received. Hence, if you believe in Him, the current position of a believer is eternal life, they are going to live continually in eternity. The Bible says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

the richest men in the world is a big name in the world of trading and investment. The ‘Oracle of Omaha” was influenced by his teachers at Columbia University and their teachings stuck with him ever since. He has a long term investment strategy that helped him increase his wealth. Treasures in heaven are clearly treasures that last. We live in a passing world with passing fancies. Treasures in heaven are treasures that no one can take from your bank account, wallet or house. Investments and risks go hand in hand as you may lose your money or you may end up making a profit, but we have a place to invest that does not involve any sort of risk. Great investors know that they need to undergo suffering, sacrifice and pain to rack up the initial

A good investor invests only in a business he truly understands. He knows that he can't invest in something he cannot comprehend. Likewise only a person who believes that there is life after death can invest in the Kingdom of God For people struggling with the question of whether God exists or if life after death is really true, hear what Paul Dirac says. He was a theoretical physicist and he is known for predicting the existence of antimatter. He was a genius and won the Nobel Prize in 1933. He says, “It could be that it is extremely difficult to start life. It might be that it is so difficult to start life that it has happened only once among all the planets.
capital for their investment, by the same token we must suffer, sacrifice and live through the pain in order to invest in heaven. If you endure, you will see your investments compounding. What happens to your investments when you die? Your assets, all that you had worked for your entire life will be taken away in an instant, it will be moved to someone else’s name and you are never going to carry a penny that you made with you to the grave. Invest! Invest in the Kingdom of God, invest in life after death! Imagine participating in an event. You made the mark and you’ve won according to the rules of the event but only the top participants are given medals and rewards. Imagine that you made it to heaven (which in itself is the greatest achievement) but you merely made it and you are not given any honors due to your failure in investing in His Kingdom. Would you not be sad despite having made it. I would be!

Most of us invest, some of us even trade in the stock market. These investments may bring us a gain or loss. However the investment lasts only a lifetime. We have a retirement fund. I’d say that’s how far our vision is. Wise men know that you have to invest for after our retirement and even our death. What happens after we die?
Let us consider, just as a conjecture, that the chance of life starting when we have got suitable physical conditions is 10 100. I don't have any logical reason for proposing this figure, I just want you to consider it as a possibility Under those conditions ... it is almost certain that life would not have started. And I feel that under those conditions it will be necessary to assume the existence of a god to start off life. I would like, therefore, to set up this connection between the existence of a god and the physical laws: if physical laws are such that to start off life involves an excessively small chance so that it will not be reasonable to suppose that life would have started just by blind chance, then there must be a god, and such a god would probably be showing his influence in the quantum jumps which are taking place later on. On the other hand, if life can start very easily and does not need any divine influence, then I will say that there is no god.” It is interesting to note that Paul Dirac was an atheist. Mathematicians, Cosmologists, Molecular Biologists, Bio organic Chemists and Physicists confirm scientifically that there is God!

have known a professor who taught at the University I studied in. Although he never taught me (His subject was English and I was a student of Science) I know him from our interactions at church. He was a man filled with power and the Holy Spirit, a true Stephan! He had a great job, a wonderful family and a pretty car, everything a man could ask for. He was unlike everyone I’ve ever seen. In one of his sermons he said ”forsake your job, your family, your car”! What kind of a man asks people at church to forsake their family? After all, we live and work for our family. I had a hard time digesting this. It took me some time and a great deal of contemplation to truly understand what he meant. These gifts are not our investments, we shouldn’t be foolish to think that they are What separates us from the rest of the world? They invest, so do we! They invest on earth, we invest in Heaven.
The professor did really leave his job for the sake of Gospel, he’s a full time preacher now. What’s more inspiring than his life? We invest in real estate, in gold, in companies, in children! But the bad news is, life on earth doesn’t matter. What matters is the life beyond this. Would you choose to spend a year of life merry making and sinning after which you would have to spend the rest of your being in misery and pain or would you rather live a life of holiness and sacrifice for an eternity of happiness and peace?

How do we invest? Prayer, the reading of the word, walking in his ways and staying inside his plans. It’s a dangerous thing to be left out of God’s plans. You will be punished, the Bible says “like a father punishes his child”, it's lovely to hear it, but trust me it's no joke, you wouldn’t want to sin again after God strikes you Well, you can ask Jonah or Samson or David!

We all have experienced stress. As a person who went through a lot of stress very early in life, I can assert that I do everything in my power to avoid a situation where I feel stressed or pressured It feels like you want to puke out everything you ate every single second, nothing makes you happy. You may even think of ending your life. You cannot sleep, you suffer in your imagination thinking about the shame you’re gonna cause, you fake a laugh every time someone says something funny, you cannot cry, you want to but you cannot!! There is nothing worse than to suffer the pain of shame and stress. I have had the opportunity to understand God’s wisdom, it amazed me I came to know of His wisdom in the most unexpected of times. I was having a rough two months, the disappointment in me was only getting bigger, I had so many problems and questions, I was at every disadvantage and I had no one to speak to. One by one, my problems seemed to fade away. God had all my problems sorted and eventually I regained my health and happiness. I saw the wisdom of God in His plans, in His timings He removed problems that were impossible for me, at the proper time. God’s timing is impeccable. He delays some blessings for your own good. And when I came out of my troubles, I came out molded and sharp If I ever face the same problem again, I’d play with it because God made me a vessel that wouldn't crack under pressure.
There is a plan in everything and I love it when God’s plans come together. We don’t see the bigger picture, do we? If we would have, then we wouldn’t doubt our Lord. He's the master and commander There’s no greater force than God Why do we fear?

Taking risks that will honor God can help us make massive investments. When we are not tied up with fear and anxiety over money and the values of this world are no longer ours, we can live in abandonment to God’s will with open hands. When we live for and serve a King who will always be enthroned, and for a kingdom that will never end, we can take risks which may cost us on earth. This may look like suffering and persecution. It could mean we make choices which seem alien or challenging to those around us. But we know that we can trust God’s plans and purposes in all things
18 kingdom Perspectives I www kpm org uk
To make heavenly investments we need a new heart, to desire the things of heaven we need a transformed heart that values Jesus more than an abundance of wealth and possessions. The heart is deceitful above all things (Jeremiah 17:9). We were born into sin and cannot love or seek after God of our own accord due to our hardened heart (Romans 3:11). It is the Father who draws us to Himself (John 6:44) and we need to be born again to be able to see God’s kingdom (John 3:3)
Our desires need to change away from earthly things and into eternal, everlasting, never perishing treasure. In Colossians 3:2 it says, “set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.”
Help the poor and the needy. People mistake helping the needy as investments in heaven. Of course it is, but this alone will do you no good Let no one know when you help someone, decide for yourself, you want to be rewarded here or in heaven up above? Although we might not see any reward on earth for helping those in need, we know that we are advancing the heavenly kingdom and giving God the glory, which is of more worth than having an abundance of treasure on earth.

Seek the Kingdom of God first, pursue Jesus above all things and surrender everything to Him. Be rich toward Him in every area of life, from the money we spend, the words we say, our interactions with others and in all that we do. For all that Christ has done for us we should treasure Him and His kingdom purposes first. He knows all that we need so we can seek the kingdom and His righteousness, knowing that everything we need will be added (Matthew 6:33). Having a heavenly mindset will free us from the values found on earth and keep our heart and mind on Christ and eternity.

An example of someone that took a risk was the widow in Mark 12:41 44 who gave all that she had out of her poverty. This was in stark contrast to the rich who were putting in large amounts out of the abundance of their wealth. Jesus said to His disciples that the widow had put more in the temple treasury than everyone else because she gave all she had to live on. Her heart was not wrapped up in any earthly treasure, but instead she entrusted it all to God.
If we fully surrender all we have to God rather than chasing earthly pursuits, we will be able to take greater risks for the kingdom of God as our heart, and therefore our treasure, is with Him.

Some investments that we can make today: Being humble and pure in heart (Matthew 5:5, 8), hungering and thirsting for righteousness (Matthew 5:6), showing mercy Mathew 5.7, making peace (Matthew 5:9), being persecuted for the sake of righteousness (Matthew 5:10), being “the salt of the earth,” which is about, in part, preserving the flavour of godliness in the world and in our relationships (Matthew 5:13), being the light of the world (Matthew 5:14), following God’s commands (Matthew 5:19), resisting anger (Matthew 5:22), being faithful to one’s spouse (Matthew 5:28, 32), keeping your word (Matthew 5:37), Turning the other cheek (Matthew 5:39), providing for physical needs (Matthew 5:40, 42), loving your enemies (Matthew 5:44), Praying for those who persecute you (Matthew 5:44), giving to the needy discreetly (Matthew 6:3), practicing forgiveness (Matthew 6:12), fasting (Matthew 6:16), shunning worry, and trusting God to provide for your needs (Matthew 6:25), not being unfairly judgmental, but someone who examines their own life and integrity first (Matthew 7:1, 5), pursuing the things of God (Matthew 7:7), being on guard against false prophets (Matthew 7:15), being wise. And what does it mean to be wise? Jesus gives us the definition of wisdom It is hearing his words and putting them into practice (Matthew 7:24), abstaining from sexual sins (1 Thessalonians 4:3).

According to the New Testament, Eternal life is never ending life or life going on forever It is that which anticipates and assumes fellowship with God in eternity as well as having the promise of entering into that eternal fellowship in times Contributor to Westminster Dictionary of Christian Theology, state that “ Eternal in the Bible should be taken to mean ‘ endless duration’ rather than timelessness, such that when we say that God is eternal this is equivalent to saying that God endures throughout all times'' Eternal life involves a mighty miracle wrought by God in the human heart, producing a radical change in the one upon whom that miracle is performed When we are born of God, begotten of Him through the incorruptible seed His word we become new creations in Christ Jesus All things become new that is, through the miracle of the new birth we hate the things we once loved, and love the things we hate before we were born The believer finds new pleasures, new ideals, new friends and associations Eternal life is Christ within (Colo 1:27)
To put it simply, eternal life means living forever To put it in details, it means that we gain the truth as life, practice according to God’s words in everything, thoroughly wrest ourselves from the fetters of sins and Satan’s influence, do not sin, resist or rebel against God anymore, can obey, worship and love God, are completely compatible with God and become ones who follow God's will Just as the verse says, “Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city” (Revelation 22:14). If one gains eternal life, they will never die and will inherit God’s promise and blessings to enter into God’s kingdom.

Eternal life can be gained now, at present through having faith in Jesus Christ Eternal life is to be identified with regeneration and is received in the new birth According to the Biblical conception, eternal life is for only believers, that means only those who accepted Christ he/she as their own personal Savior At His second coming, He will welcome His people into His presence. All believers will be resurrected and transformed to be with the Lord forever, 1 These. 4:18, 1 Cor. 15:35 370; in the Bible man or his soul is not a naturally immortal being God’s alone is immortality (1 Tim 6:16), though it is bestowed on believers as a gift (1 Cor 15:42, 50, 54)
Christ coming was already inaugurated His kingdom, eternal life is experienced by the believers during the presence life ( John 3:36; 5:5:24; 1 John 5:13, 2 Cor 4:7 18) Since eternal life mean the Age to come; it implies not only everlastingness but a quality of life drive from relationship with Christ Rom 6:25, John 17:3) Thus the perfect life of God’s ultimate kingdom is the consummation of the life in Christ experienced now (1 Cor 3:1 4, John 6:54)
Although death made discontinuity between this life and next; eternal life guarantees and continuity of relationship to Christ even through death Even though death is separated from the physical world, yet we Christian are having hope to see it again, where there are no tears and no pain any more, that will take place, eternal realization, in the feet of Jesus, in New Haven
He came down from heaven to give life to the world (John 6:33), to testify to the world’s spiritual hunger and thirst (Jn 6:35) This life is mediated both through Jesus’ person and his words His very words are life (Jn 6:63) because his words come from the father who has given him commandment what to say, and God’s commandment is eternal life (Jn12:49 50)

Our lord himself emphasizes the future realization of eternal life, I am the resurrection and the life, he who believes in me, will live again, even though his body ceased to function on earth (Jn 11:25)
