Shelly Ma originally left her native China to study at a university in Iowa. But she transferred to the Bloch School after learning about Kansas City’s status as a major business hub in the Midwest. Ma, a finance major, was attracted by Kansas City’s large finance and banking community, as well as the Bloch School’s proximity to
