Olympus AU680 – Lower Operational Costs and Improve Efficiency With throughput of up to 800 photometric tests per hour, the Beckman Coulter/AU680 chemistry analyzer is ideal for use in mid- to high-volume laboratories.

The Beckman Coulter/Olympus AU680 chemistry analyzer is an automated chemistry analyzer that gives mid- to highvolume laboratories the flexibility to improve efficiency while reducing costs. Featuring a throughput capacity of up to 800 photometric tests/hour (up to 1,200 with ISE), and 60 photometric tests + 3 ISE, the AU680 offers improved user convenience with advanced automation options, extended analytical reach and reduced operating costs. This fully automated, random access chemistry system with STAT capability can analyze different sample types such as serum, urine, whole blood (HbA1c) and other bodily fluids. This chemistry lab device features a highly intuitive graphical user interface that includes a usercustomized menu, color alerts to highlight system operating conditions and sample tracking and patient statistics. Flexibility is assured with a menu capacity of up to 63 different assays on board. A new special priority lane performs re-runs quickly. In addition, to increase automation levels, samples can be loaded via a new standardized rack tray for direct transfer from the Beckman Coulter AutoMate 2500 perianalytical workstation. The Olympus AU680 features a high-precision micro sampling technique that provides accurate results. A large 150-sample rack loader provides for optimal sample processing during peak workload periods. Priority sample repeat/reflex reduces turnaround time for critical patients. Its triple reagent dispensing technique enables the AU680 chemistry analyzer to perform assays requiring up to three separate reagents.
