And leaving that search box blank and clicking on the search icon does indeed reveal a bit more information. Still, from the list of options highlighted by the red box we still need to dig a little bit deeper. We are going to select "Kitchen and dining" as shown in the screenshot below.

And from this we end up with a whole host of viable niches from bakeware to coffee, tea, espresso, cookware and so on.

All of these inside the red box are all potentially great niche site ideas. All ripe for the taking!. Home brew and wine making sparks my interest as a pretty good niche - despite being a tea totaller myself!. Clicking that option is going to tell us if there are some quality products for us to be reviewing on our little home brew site. (our niche of choice here)

Oh, my oh my! nice little surprise here, there is the possibility of niching down further and making a specialist site on wine making or beer brewing if we so wished. 6/14

In order to determine if the niche is viable it must have a reasonable amount of products for us to review and recommend and at a good price range of $50+. The products must be of quality. The reason being here is you want them to sell well and for you to get few returns. How we do that is very simple, as we scroll down on amazon, select 4 stars and the quality rating and then select a price range as shown below!.

How To Get Paid For Blogging Having found a potentially good niche and a bunch of products that we can recommend we are still not quite done with the research phase. The question arises are there enough people searching for this niche? can it generate enough traffic? To find out the answer to that question I hopped on over to one of my fave keyword research tools, Jaaxy to find out the average number of searches for a main keyword term related to the niche.

As we can see from the screen shot there is plenty of searches every single month for search terms that are related towards our niche of interest. However a quick social media investigation and search on facebook can reveal just how popular a niche is by doing a search of facebook groups. Are there many groups, are there popular groups with tens of thousands of members? If so, this is another indication of the viability of your niche.
