The publication portrays Kukeri – masked men from the Balkans that perform a ritual a few times during the year to scare and send away the evil spirits around. The zine includes more than 32 visuals and an exclusive text spread about Kukeri by writer Stefan Ivanov. The issue tries to synthesize the character & personality behind the man-Kuker and to introduce him as an ever-changing symbol of hope, boon and happiness.
