Derek Brazell and Jo Davies have been working together since the late 1990s when as Board members of the Association of Illustrators (AOI), and keen to create a platform for discussion and investigation into the subject of illustration, they developed the journal, which they edited collaboratively until their subsequent launch of the awardwinning and internationally acclaimed Varoom magazine in 2006, to which they still contribute as writers.
