PRINCIPAL’S REPORT BER UPDATE Yesterday Lynne Brenner, Jodie Norton (school council president), and I met with Julie Alliston, DEECD BER Manager, and Stephen Lyon, Manager Stakeholders Relations BER to discuss options for moving forward with our BER project in totality. The meeting was productive with the following outcomes, subject to school council ratification at Monday‘s meeting: (1) Notwithstanding that we remain disappointed with the balance of funds available for our companion project, we have accepted the amount of $604,063 offered by the DEECD. This in effect means that we select our own project manager/architect to deliver the project within budget, scope and delivery schedules. The DEECD have agreed to this choice.
