OUR NURSERY SCHOOL Rolfe’s Nursery School offers a first class education, preparing children for entry to prestigious London schools with most offered their first choice place. Our vision is to provide the very best start to each child’s education and we do this by carefully planning and preparing high quality lessons and activities at all levels. Our teachers are devoted to providing the very best standards of education and care. They work together to provide a nurturing environment and plan appropriate academic challenges to enable children to reach their full potential. Kindness and good manners are important at Rolfe’s and are promoted throughout the nursery school.
OUR SCHOOL CURRICULUM At Rolfe’s Nursery School, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. We strive for excellence in all areas of the curriculum thus providing a high quality learning environment. Our experienced and motivated staff ensure that an inspiring selection of varied educational resources are available to every child. Each child’s educational progress is carefully monitored and teachers regularly communicate with parents to keep them fully informed about their child’s development. Our weekly programme includes art, dance, drama, French, gym, music and yoga lessons. All of these lessons are taught by specialist teachers. As well as this we organise a number of wonderful events throughout the year including Christmas Nativity plays, Easter Bonnet Parades and a traditional Sports Day, complete with egg and spoon races and jam tarts.

O U R T E A C H I N G S TA F F The staff at Rolfe’s Nursery School are highly trained and experienced in the provision of early years education. They treat each child as an individual, establishing relationships of interest and support. Our teachers stay with us for many years, creating consistency and stability for families, especially those with siblings. Daily opportunities are provided for informal conversation between teachers and parents with more formal opportunities planned throughout the year.
