Ania Luk
Warsaw, Poland
Ania reflects on women’s beauty and topics related to narcissism, perfectionism, the self-centeredness of a ‘selfie-generation’ and the sexual freedom of the twenty-first century. She explores what it means to be feminine and whether it still
has any value in a society that has become increasingly genderless. Her style, which has an industrial feel, is characterised by the use of geometric abstractions and a soft colour palette. There is a particular harmony in her artwork’s
composition solutions, textures and coloration that beautifully portray the borders between woman’s body, mind and soul, thereby offering a study of human identity in a space.
