WINTER/SPRING EWAM SESSIONS: ALL CLASSES WILL BE HELD AT 1403 GOETHALS, RICHLAND, WA 99354 Thursday: 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Intermediate string class, starting 1/13/115/25/11 (Focus on proper technique, and orchestral string literature geared for the intermediate student.) Tuition $120.00 (to be paid at first rehearsal)(CVA, HomeLink, MCP students will need to turn in paperwork on first rehearsal for billing purposes) End Concert: TBA Friday: 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Intermediate-Advanced string class, starting 1/14/11-5/26/11 (Focus on proper technique, and orchestral string literature geared for the intermediate/advanced student.) Tuition $120.00 (to be paid at first rehearsal)(CVA, HomeLink, MCP students will need to turn in paperwork on first rehearsal for billing purposes) End Concert: TBA NEW! Master Classes: (violin and cello) Beginner Violin Master Classes: For the beginning student (adults welcome) who would like to learn how to play the violin in a non-competitive, nurturing environment. Emphasis will be on good left and right hand position. Maia Bang Violin Method Vol. 1 (inspired by famous Russian pedagoge, Leopold Auer) will be utilized; Saturday mornings, 10:30-11:15 a.m. starting 1/15/11. (Cost $25.00 per month; based on a minimum of 5 students) Intermediate Violin Master Classes: For the intermediate violin student (adults welcome) who would like to learn intermediate violin bowing, and left hand techniques (3rd and 2nd position) in a non-competitive, nurturing environment. Maia Bang Violin Method Bk. 2 & 3 (inspired by famous Russian pedagoge, Leopold Auer) will be utilized. Saturday afternoons, (1:00 – 1:45 p.m.) (Cost: $25.00 per month; based on a minimum of 5 students) Beginner Cello Master Classes: For the beginning cello student (adults welcome) who would like to learn to play the cello in a non-competitive, nurturing environment. Emphasis will be on proper technique. Essential Elements Bk. 1 for the cello will be utilized. Saturday mornings, 9:45 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. (Cost, $25.00 per month). NEW Kindermusik classes: For 2-4 year olds ABC Music and Me classes $50.00 per month tuition; Friday’s from 2:15 – 3:00 p.m. Starting 1/07/11 For 4-6 year olds ABC Music and Me Classes $50.00 per month tuition; Friday’s from 3:15 – 4:00 p.m.
